24 Extreme RTC Challenges Can t open RTC editor when there are that many assets Controlled +100,000 variable control assets in the model +300,000 lines of RTC code is not a problem 3 hours to load into the simulation engine prior to initialisation Some RTC code errors not found when validating RTC and only found during initialisation For example: Q Flow vs Q flow Simulations can take 1 hour to initialise depending on the number of assets being controlled.
25 RTC Summary RTCs allow for precise control of ancillary structures Through the use of in-house RTC generator tools, complex operational procedures can be developed quickly and for a large number of ancillaries Provides the ability to develop, test and validate a range of operational scenarios and design cases.
