Vasilicos is a proper site with expandable capabilities can accommodate (3 bcf/d or 3X5 MMTPA) Project Structure Gas owners (IOC, Cyprus), buyers The government will secure competitive participation and access to newcomers gas holders Project financing $ 9-10 billion for 2 trains, 20-30% shareholders finance, 80-70% project financing Timing Project Agreement by 2014, FID 2015, construction , exports 2020 LNG markets LNG offers flexibility to different markets.

12 Oil & Gas Education & Skills taskforce Education & training The Government must create an Oil & Gas Education & Skills taskforce for Cyprus with a clear mandate to develop an Oil & Gas Workforce Training Strategy. The taskforce must involve all stakeholders, consider key needs and factors and ensure collaboration. Stakeholders are the ministries (MECIT, Education, Labour), the Cyprus Hydrocarbon Company, universities, industry and overseas experts with relevant expertise Training in trade jobs: technical skills The Universities must offer programs to build and accelerate the development of national workforces for recruitment by the local authorities and international companies. Master in Petroleum Engineering at the University of Cyprus ( recruitment According to SPE the next five years a big number of experienced engineers will retire. Cyprus has a highly educated population (near 1000 graduate Engineers every year). Oil and gas industries will have the opportunity to recruit local young Engineers
