Green Energy Park First R&D test platform involving moroccan and foreign universities and companies to create synergies and an excellence cluster in the field of solar energy, Budget: 20 millions, 3100 m² labs: TF Cell lab, PV module production, PV module caracterisation lab, material caracterisation lab, CSP labs including phogrammetry, deflectometriy and HTF test systems, 1,2 Ha: testing platforms 6,5 Ha: pilot projects
Green Energy Park
Plateforme de tests et de recherche Green Building Park GREEN & SMART BUILDING PARK (GSBP) is a platform dedicated to research and development in the field of green buildings, energy efficiency in Buildings, renewable energy integration and smart grids. Total Area 4 hectares, with more than 3000 m² of laboratories Erected as a model LIVING LAB, Green & Smart Building Park will include more than 20 test-size houses inhabited for testing under real conditions
Green & Smart Building Park Indoor Laboratories FablaB Encourage innovation and thinking outside the box by allowing the engineers and researchers to innovate with regard to shapes and forms to be integrated in the building. Fablab Materials performances testing Lab Materials performances testing Lab Define the mechanical, thermal, phonic and electrical characteristics of the various materials integrated in the building. Local materials characterization and valorization Lab Enabling the creation of an economic dynamics around the local materials that coud be integrated in a «green» building. Local materials characterization and valorization Lab Smart-Grid Lab Smart-Grid Lab Study the different methods of re regulating and managing the sources of production / consumption of energy.
Green & Smart Building Park Outdoor test platform & pilot projects Net Zero Energy Building The 1500m² building which will hold indoor laboratories will be a "Net Zero Energy" that is to say, the annual amount of energy required for its operation is equal to the amount of energy it generates. From design to energy management through the orientation, lighting, insulation, building materials, heating and air conditioning, all aspects necessary to achieving a Net Zero Energy Building will be treated. Net Zero Energy Building Test Field Test Field An area of nearly 1 ha will be dedicated to testing, full scale, elements developed in the different laboratories. Welding workshops, ironwork, carpentry and assembly will be available on site. Test Suites Test Suites These 35m² suites will allow us to test under actual weather conditions, the combination (with regards to insulation, building materials, plant sailing, glazing,...) that suits the most the Moroccan and Mediterranean conditions. These test chambers will be used simultaneously as housing for students.
Coming Events: Solar Decathlon Africa AFRICA he Solar Decathlon is an international competition which aims to develop sustainable and environmentally responsible homes. During the final phase of the competition, the houses will be mounted in Green Building Park and will visit. The scoring is done according to 10 criteria: Benguerir accueille les maisons du futur Objectif: Solar Decathlon organization to Green City Benguerir at the Green Building Park. To be Launched in 2017 to hold the competition end of Partenaire: US Energy Department Architecture -Energy Efficiency Comfort Energy Consumption - Engineering and construction Sustainability - Marketing, communication and public awarness Accessibility - Innovation
