Global Warming, Climate Change are challenges that we no longer can ignore and they have emerged as the biggest environmental issue. It is time to raise the alarm on these issues and modify our civilization to minimize the ill effects caused by us to the planet. In order to help future generations and to deal with climate change, countries have co-operated and agreed that the overall objective of conservation can be done only if each of the initiatives gets the priority it deserves. Global Warming Theme Calendar 2017 see beyond technologies have been associated with the Sustainability Industry since inception and we welcome 2017 with Global Warming as the calendar theme. This calendar attempts to showcase the various aspects of Global Warming both from a education perspective and suggest some of the best practices to minimize the effect of the same on this wonderful planet. Wish you a very Happy and Prosperous New Year 2017.

January infrasecure helps in reducing the carbon footprint of companies which have large number of desktop computers in their enterprise and doubles up as a comprehensive IT Asset Management and Software Compliance toolset. Global Warming has caused the earth s average surface temperature go up due to emission of greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide and methane. Though these gases are required for the presence of human life on earth, global warming is happening due to over-emittance of these gases. infrasecure We can surely reduce the emission of these gases by making suitable changes to our lifestyle and adopting green concepts in every walk of our life.

February nd February Wetlands Day interact helps in creating a platform inside the organization to create meaningful interactive Collaborative sessions in a structured manner. The tool helps reduce carbon emissions while conducting structured meetings online. Carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide and greenhouse gases remain in the atmosphere for many years leaving a lasting effect on Global Warming. We need to use best practices of using eco-friendly products and services that reduce the effect on the greenhouse gases.

March nd March Water Day 23 rd March Meteorological Day NUCLEUS helps in the learning process with interactive tutorials, multimedia tutorials and provides feedback on the learning process. As per the IPCC 2007 report, sea levels could rise by 7-23 inches by the end of this century, the average temperature has risen by 1.4-Fahrenheit degrees. We should use alternative energy sources and reduce our emission of co2 now and forever. NUCLEUS

April st April Fossil Fuel Day 22 nd April Earth Day infrasecure has modules to help in Hardware and Software Inventory, Asset Management, Desktop Management, Software Optimization, Compliance and Accounting, Audit- Trails, e-attendance and Service Desk. Industrialization has caused tremendous increase of water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, this combined with pollution and deforestation has created an alarming effect on the environment. We should work sustainable methods that reduce, recycle, reuse products and services that leave less impact on the environment. infrasecure

May STREAM helps you with Project Management, Automated Time sheets, Software Metering, Measurement and Analysis helping organizations derive productivity patterns and help build Business Intelligence. Extreme weather changes are a result of Global warming. Forest fires, heat waves and severe tropical storms throughout the world are affecting the life of humans, animals and the environment at large. STREAM Mass transportation, less use of private cars and widespread use of electric vehicles that do not emit are some steps that every Government should adopt.

June th June Environment Day 8 th June Ocean Day 17 th June Drought Day Use STREAM to Automate the process of capturing accurate effort spent on various activities either using a open or stealth mode to help organizations derive dashboard data that can help identify productivity and maximize performance. Disappearing habitats, ecosystems, acidic oceans are all caused due to our neglect on the environment for years now. Planting trees, conserving the ecosystem and allowing the biodiversity to flourish are key factors that we all should embrace. STREAM

July th July Population Day Don t worry about costly IT Audits. Reports from infrasecure can help you get prepared for Audits instantly. With the alerting and incident reporting system built into infrasecure you could focus on the most important functions of supporting the core business. We all have been seeing news about the Arctic Ice melting rapidly and the region is expected to have a completely ice free summer in the next years. The catastrophic storms that hit Uttarakhand is a live example. infrasecure To be able to avoid such situations, the first step is being aware of how much we are damaging the environment. The next step is to start reducing this damage, spread awareness and take action.

August You can correlate Software purchased against the installation to provide information about Optimized, Over and Under deployed scenarios. You can further optimize your license purchase using the metering feature of infrasecure. Global warming is causing extreme weather changes and has shown it implications in the way of forest fires, heat waves and severe tropical storms throughout the world. The recent floods that hit Chennai and Bangalore are a few examples. infrasecure Planting trees help much in reducing global warming than any other method. Trees not only give us oxygen but also take in carbon dioxide, the main source of global warming.

September th Sept Ozone Layer Preservation Day NUCLEUS can conduct Employee Surveys, Appraisal's and help you get Instant results. Storage and Preservation of information is easy and secure. We are the main cause for emitting more carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and destroying the environment around us. Relinquishing our greed and lesser consumption of all luxuries helps in reducing the carbon release into the atmosphere. NUCLEUS

October st October Habitat Day 10 th October Natural Disaster Reduction Day STREAM helps you Identify total time used by various applications, Analyze total time spent on computers/projects Optimize license utilization and re-deploy if required! Sea levels have risen about 7 inches in the last few decades, which is more than the previous 2000 years combined. The rising sea levels due to global warming could threaten the lives of people living along the coastal areas. STREAM Protect and Conserve trees, Mangroves and wetlands that are formed naturally in these areas. A Substantial amount of such initiatives can prevent the coastal cities from submerging.

November Our IOT Solutions GREEN Money and GREEN Stat Optimize Energy drain from Automated Teller Machines, Bank Branches by controlling the Air conditioners based on ambient temperature. Co2 is being released into the environment at the rate of alarming 1000 tons per second and is the highest ever. GREEN Money GREEN Stat Train our younger generations to start riding bicycles safely to Schools and Colleges rather than getting them accustomed to the usual ride on our vehicles. Not only will it be fun for them, but will also instill a good fitness regime.

December th December Mountain Day SMART Switch adjusts itself for summer and winter solstice automatically conserving energy and helping aesthetics in public lighting areas. The industrial revolution has started the burning of fossil fuels like coal, oil and gas on a massive scale. This not only increased greenhouse gases but is also responsible for large scale asthma and other respiratory diseases. Use less of Machinery and where possible use energy star rated appliances to reduce the use of wastage of energy. SMART Switch

Conserve Energy always Dispose responsibly Plant trees, conserve water Reduce greenhouse gas emissions Encourage Innovation in Sustainable products Use Eco-friendly products Telecommute more often Use bio-degradable Products Switch OFF what you don t need Adopt renewable energy sources Help Biodiversity Flourish Reduce electronic Waste We shall use the best practices to help our future generations cherish what we all have relished from this wonderful blue planet for ages now.
