ESIS consulting services help you meet your HSE goals. We ll work with you to determine which standard is right for your company or organization. While ESIS is not a registrar for ISO or OHSAS, we can help you get on the path to achieving certification. Our gap assessment services are scalable and range from a simplified high-level review of a facility s compliance and/or management system status to an in-depth review of all relevant compliance, management systems, perception/culture surveys, tailored webinars, and best practices. ESIS consultants work with you to develop and implement HSE programs and processes that are specific to your requirements and align with your company s business strategies. ESIS Health, Safety, and Environmental Services can help you streamline your company s overall HSE processes by evaluating existing programs and integrating them into your HSE management system. 8
9 ESIS Green Building Consulting ESIS U.S. staff members are currently involved with clients on many U.S. Green Building Council matters. Rating elements focus on indoor environmental quality and services include: Program development, evaluation, and auditing Ventilation; outdoor air delivery and exhaust systems monitoring Indoor air quality and thermal comfort monitoring Indoor chemical and pollutant source control Optimization of low VOC and alternative materials use Construction IAQ management plan Documentation of productivity impact Indoor chemical and pollutant source control Controllability of systems Daylighting and views Minimum water efficiency planning Minimum energy performance evaluations Source reduction and waste management plans Waste stream analysis Optimization of IAQ compliant and alternative materials use Brownfields (environmental site assessment and soil/groundwater clean-up) Sustainability is a continuous process. For existing buildings, changes may need to be made slowly. Equipment upgrades may need to follow existing replacement schedules due to capital limitations, and adopting new policies and practices may require cultural changes on the part of building occupants and O&M personnel. This requires a long-term commitment and continuous cycles of implementing, monitoring, and adjusting. Promoting this type of long-term thinking helps prepare owners for continuous re-certification of buildings, encourages tracking of building performance and other measures, and in some cases provides confirmation of how practices and policies are working. 9
