The Human Resources portion of the course is designed to help you build a solid foundation for implementing PeopleSoft Human Resources for an organization. Learn To: Navigate through the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA). Access and search through the online help. Identify and set up the core human resource implementation tables. Manage worker data manually, using Position Management, or manage this data through Smart HR templates. Set up benefit health and welfare plans, savings and pension plans and benefit programs. Enroll employees in benefit programs and add dependents and beneficiaries. Set Up Core HR Foundation Tables Enrolling in this course will also help you learn about and set up the core Human Resources foundation tables that support your workforce. After setting up these tables, you will explore data permission security and how to access or restrict worker data. Set Up Manual Benefit Plans and Programs Examine and implement health (medical, dental, vision), life (group life, supplemental life, dependent life), disability (LTD, STD), savings (401k, profit sharing), leave (vacation, sick, personal) and flexible and health spending accounts (FSA, HSA) benefits plans.
