The blister machine is tailored to the requirements of the costefficient packaging of fragile ampoules, syringes, and bottles. The second

Ltd. based in Pune. This local presence enables Uhlmann to tap into the enormous potential of the Indian market more effectively and the pharmaceutical companies in the area have a competent partner on hand. Uhlmann Nordiska AB can look back on 15 years of successful activities in Scandinavia. The company in Shanghai is celebrating its tenth anniversary. Twenty-nine employees now work in China. Wonder Packing in China became a member of the Uhlmann Group in The company has further extended its range of products and services, and plays a key role in the Uhlmann global production network. Record result for KOCH Pac-Systeme as well A member of the Uhlmann Group for ten years, KOCH is profiting from increasing demand as a quality brand for customized packaging machines. Tangible examples of this in the past business year include an additional 10,700 square meter expanse for assembly and logistics in Laupheim, appearances at all major trade shows worldwide, and the in-house show Pharmazing Days 2016, which brought the motto to life in all its facets. 5 05 Planning of the next construction stage will commence at the end of An event with long-term effects: Pharmazing Days 2016 in the new building The Pharmazing Days 2016 convincingly portrayed the corporate identity of Uhlmann and its consistent growth policy. The in-house show took place in the new assembly and logistics building, the construction of which denoted the largest such project in the history of the company. Over EUR 20 million have been invested. One day after the official inauguration, 1,500 international visitors had the opportunity to experience quality Made in Germany firsthand: firstly, in the form of the new building that combines state-of-the-art facilities and high architectural standards; secondly, on 5,500 square meters of exhibition area. 6 06 Business Report 2015/2016 from internal to external Those growing externally must put the common understanding of the brand into practice internally as do the 1,800 employees at the company headquarters and Group companies. Their qualifications, commitment, and motivation secure the sustainability and competitiveness of Uhlmann. As a strong, attractive employer both in the Laupheim region and worldwide Uhlmann offers long-term perspectives for qualified personnel. The company is planning approximately 200 additional jobs, 100 of which in Laupheim, in the current business year. The number of young people trained by Uhlmann to become skilled workers, engineers, or business administrators is to be increased to 100 by Once qualified, an extensive human resources development program offers further career promotion. The promotion of young talent is also the reason for transferring the successful dual work-study training program to Singapore. Students complete the practical part of their course at Uhlmann Singapore and learn theory at the Singapore Institute of Technology.
