2 COMPETENCY-BASED EDUCATION (CBE) CBE is emerging as a strategic approach to address challenges of higher education CBE is particularly well-suited for career education If competencies are designed to align with employer job readiness expectations Currently there are about 20 institutions with Department of Education approval, but about 350 institutions seeking to implement Biggest regulatory barrier is how to decouple seat time from awarding credit Some institutions are developing CBE in phases to take advantage of benefits while regulations are normalized

One thing we might want to add - there are many different types of reports used in the Private Security and Law Enforcement Sector. Should add: Explain the various reports used in the Private security Industry before Describe the characteristics of a wellwritten report. Also, the topic is investigating, reporting, and testifying, but there isn t content for testifying. 1. Describe a Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) 2.
