4 Objectives Objective Review competency frameworks To engage widely across the network through the development of communication media Increase awareness of mentoring and coaching across the North West Leadership development / Future Leaders To establish and review competency frameworks to ensure they are in alignment and are relevant for the new NHS environment To enhance communication methods through the use of social media e.g. Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook 1. To offer free of charge Mentor and Mentee training 2. To signpost to the Northwest Mentoring scheme and Coaching network To establish an 18 month future leaders development programme
5 Objective To further develop accreditation programmes Further enhance the Student Support Network To raise awareness of partnership working e.g. social care and clinicians To establish and review accreditation standards 1. To develop a Graduate placement schemes across all specialism 2. To establish apprentice schemes across all specialism and across the region 1. To link in with Health Education England North West to establish training links 2. To establish a series of medicine for managers sessions across the North West 3. To engage with CCIOs
6 Objectives Director Development To undertake an annual workforce profile Share best practice & to promote innovation To identify what is required by Directors via survey monkey Analyse results and devise a programme. To include directors from other sectors To undertake a workforce profile assessment across all specialisms To establish a framework to facilitate the sharing of best practice through the website, presentations and events
7 Objective Development of an experienced professionals network Establish links with the Academic Health Science Networks across the region To link in with the Future Focused Finance Agenda To establish a programme of networking events to include the opportunity for organisations to share best practice To establish links with the North West Coast and Greater Manchester Academic Health Science networks to share best practice To maintain links and support the national work and to ensure that our strategy links in with the national direction

Further development of informatics networking opportunities i.e. Manchester University masters programmes 2. To develop further partnership working across providers within procurement including links to the national centre for procurement development 3.
