12 Configuration overview The Agilent ELN system is based on the following components: Chemistry environment that covers: Unitary synthesis as well as Purification experiments Analytical Request Module Analytical environment that covers Separation Techniques (LC, GC), Structural Analysis (NMR, MS, IR, UV, ICP), Powder Analysis Techniques and General Analysis thanks to dynamic forms OpenLAB ECM

13 Streamlining communication between labs through analysis requests Analysis Request Project manager Scientist Instrument Chemical Sample + Analysis Request (with context) Review, accept or update the Analysis Request Register Sample Store the sample + affect the AR to one lab Execute the next requested analysis Generate Raw Data Print the experimental run s report Chemical Sample + Analysis Request completed with results and conclusions Review AR If AR completed: 1. Enter conclusion 2. Generate the global report, signs it and send it to the submitter Record result Print the experiment report (all available results) and attach it to the AR Transmit AR + sample to the next lab
