7 OUR HISTORY Kincrome Australia Pty Ltd was acquired by Ron Burgoine in Kincrome is an Australian, family owned distributor of hand tools and equipment to the automotive, hardware, retail and industrial markets in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Papua New Guinea. In January 2005, Kincrome moved to our Corporate Headquarters in Scoresby, Victoria, designed specially to incorporate smart technology solutions and leading edge warehouse management systems. Our Capacity and Capabilities Kincrome has seen significant growth over recent years and as a result we have opened two new strategically located warehouses in Queensland and Western Australia Our Queensland warehouse boasts a distribution facility of 4,000sqm with a capacity to store 4,000 pallets while our Western Australia warehouse boasts a distribution area of 3,000sqm with a capacity to store 3,000 pallets. Both warehouses are strategically located for logistical reasons. Our Melbourne warehouse and distribution area of 8000sqm boasts storage capacity for 8000 pallets and showcases the latest in Supply Chain Management solutions. Covering an impressive 5000sqm, our external canopy provides protection over our despatch area which features 4 hydraulically assisted container docks, and a truck loading area of 5000sqm for swift transportation of our national orders. With 10,000 sqm under cover and an expanse of land surrounding the premises, our new Corporate Headquarters provides the facilities required to cater for the operational needs we have today and the capacity for future growth and Development. Our warehouses showcase the latest in Supply Chain Management solutions. Kincrome s warehouse facilities include technology assisted picking equipment, conveyer driven delivery systems and automated invoicing and freight confirmation processes. Supported by RF (Radio Frequency) units, our Warehouse Management System runs real time data giving access to up-to-date and accurate information.
