Write a few lines (5-6 lines) on My House. Mention the shapes that you used in making your house. Make a Hindi poem in your words on your house. ( at least 5-7 lines). Paste the materials used for making the house. Put all the sheets in a beautiful handmade folder. ENGLISH 1. Draw and colour four pictures on A-4 sized coloured sheet related to the following topics. Action words (Example -eating, dancing,running, jumping etc ) Prepositions (Example Cat is under the chair, Jug is on the table.) 2. One is never alone when one is with books. Sitting in your room with your book you could go off to far away places, meet all kinds of people, animals, birds and even fairies. What fun! Reading will teach you many words. You will write better and speak well. Read books and discover lots of new things!! Read atleast three English stories not from your syllabus and make a list of 15 difficult words you have come across. Write the names and author of the stories. Arrange them in alphabetical order. Find out the meanings of difficult words and make sentences by using these words. 3. By the help of Atlas, explore some names of countries of our wonderful world and make a list starting from A to Z. Two countries from each alphabet and also find out their capitals. 4.Cursive Writing- Do exercise pages from your cursive writing books. EVS 1. There are many places in the neighbourhood where we go for our daily needs like bank, hospital, etc. Make bold pictures of any 5 such places on A3 size sheets and write about it. (one picture on each sheet) 2. Save your environment. Make a beautiful poster on the given topics and write a slogan on it. (Using half cartridge sheet) 3. Look near your house and find about different types of plants growing there like tree, shrub, herb, climber, creeper, desert plants and water plants. Draw any of the following on an A3 size sheet and write the uses of plants too. Parts of plants Types of plants 4. Draw a collage on an A3 size sheet showing different types of houses. 5. Make a First Aid Box with a Red Cross on it having the following First Aid Tools bandage, antiseptic cream, band-aid, medicines, thermometer, scissors, cotton, antiseptic lotion etc.
