1 F.No.1/1/2015/Appts-MAEF Government of India Ministry of Minority Affairs Maulana Azad Education Foundation (An autonomous body under Ministry of Minority Affairs) Invites Applications to fill the vacant Posts Maulana Azad Education Foundation (MAEF), a society established under the Ministry of Minority Affairs to promote education among educationally backward minorities and other weaker sections, invites applications from eligible candidates for filling up following posts on deputation basis by Government Officials or from Expert Non-official Professionals on contractual basis for a fixed term of 5 (five) years: 1. Name of the Post: - Secretary & Chief Executive Officer. Eligible Persons: Government officials on deputation:- Officers of All India and other Central Services(i) Holding Senior Administrative Grade level post on regular basis in the pay scale Rs with grade pay of Rs. 10,000/-, (ii) With five years regular service in the post and in the pay scale of Rs with grade pay of Rs.8700/- OR from established Academic Sector a t the level of Associate Professor or equivalent Officer in an established academic institution/research centers with at least 5 years regular service in the pay scale Rs with grade pay Rs Expert non-official professionals: - Post- graduate with preference to MBA or equivalent with at least 15 years relevant work experience in social and responsible organization of which at least 3 years in a leadership role. Age Limit: years. 2. Name of the Post: - Chief Financial Officer. Eligible Persons: Government officials on deputation:-officers of Central Civil Service from Audit or Accounts Service holding the post equivalent to the Director or Deputy Secretary in the Central Staffing Scheme. Expert non-official professionals: - Post Graduate in Finance/Commerce or C.A. with 15 years of relevant experience. Age Limit: years. 3. Name of the Post: - Chief Knowledge Officer. Expert non-official professionals:- Post Graduate with at least 15 years of relevant experience in non- profit/social entrepreneurship organization of which at least 3 years in a leadership role. 3 F.No.1/1/2015/Appts-MAEF Government of India Ministry of Minority Affairs Maulana Azad Education Foundation (An autonomous body under Ministry of Minority Affairs) Invites Applications to fill the vacant Posts Maulana Azad Education Foundation (MAEF) a society established under the Ministry of Minority Affairs to promote education among educationally backward minorities and other weaker sections invites applications from eligible candidates for filling up the post on deputation by Government Officials or from Expert Non-official Professionals. The Eligibility conditions and the experience required for each of the post is given below: 1. Name of the Post:- Chief Executive Officer & Secretary. Age Limit: years Qualifications in case of recruitment by Deputation:- Officers of All India and other Organised Central Services or from established academic sector fulfilling the following conditions:- Essential: (a)(i) Holding Senior Administrative Grade level post o regular basis in the pay scale Rs with grade pay of Rs. 10,000/-. b) With three years regular service in the post and in the pay scale of Rs with grade pay of Rs. 8700/-. OR b) At the level Senior Reader equivalent Officer a established academic institution/research centres with at least 3 years regular service in the in the pay scale Rs with grade pay Rs Desirable: (c) Experience of working the Social Sector Schemes. (d)experience of working in Operation of Educational Schemes. (e)sufficient knowledge of educational system. Educational & Other Qualifications for Contractual appointment:- (i) Post- graduate with preference to MBA with at least 15 years work experience in social and responsible organization of which at least 3 years in a leadership role. (ii) Preferably, experience in managing large-scale program implementation.

4 Pay:- For Contractual Officer: Rs.1,30,000/- + Rs. 40,000/- (HRA) + Rs. 2500/- (Medical Insurance)+ Rs /- (EPF Contribution)+ Rs.3000/- (Children Education Allowance on submission of claim) Gratuity on completion of 5 years tenure. Primary Tasks/Responsibilities: Ensure delivery of services in all programmes is as per standards set by strategic team. Maintain service quality in all programs Develop measures for process effectiveness (meeting beneficiary needs) and efficiency (meeting organizational needs). Design programs which are effective and efficient in consultation with strategic team. Developing measures of effectiveness & monitoring beneficiary s satisfaction with MAEF's services. Develop processes for pre-approval & postdisbursal inspection. Conduct periodic review of all programs and take steps for improvement of efficiency and effectiveness as required. Provide leadership to the team. 2. Name of the Post:- Chief Financial Officer. Age Limit: years. Qualifications in case of recruitment by Deputation:- Officers of Central Civil Service from Audit and Accounts Service holding the post equivalent to the Director or Deputy Secretary in the Central Staffing Scheme Educational & Other Qualifications for Contractual appointment:- (i) Post Graduate in Finance/Commerce or C.A. with 15 years of experience. (ii) Experience in managing Finances of a mid-sized organisation. (iii) Experience investment management. (iv) Should be conversant with regulatory compliances. Pay:- For Contractual Officer: Rs.1,20,000/- + Rs.35,000/-(HRA) + Rs.2500/- (Medical Insurance)+ Rs.12000/-(EPF Contribution)+ Rs.3000/- (Children Education Allowance on submission of claim) Gratuity on completion of 5 years tenure. Primary Tasks/Responsibilities: Supervising disbursal of funds to beneficiaries. Maintaining books of accounts and Compliance with all statutory laws applicable to Societies and application of Government Rules. Preparing investment plan for MAEF corpus to ensure highest possible ROI and review & monitoring of same at periodic intervals Managing & approving internal running expenses of MAEF Budget Preparation annual budget forecast for the quarter

5 Periodic reporting on finances to the GB Supervising the Monitoring & Evaluation of the disbursements already done from financial perspective Whether the finances reflect the programs which are claimed to be done. Whether periodic reports are received from the grant receiving organisations about utilisation of funds and same is reviewed as to the nature utilisation for the purpose for which it was given. Liaison with the Statutory Auditor & Internal Auditor and CAG. Management of facilities and infrastructure. Provide leadership to the team. 3. Name of the Post:- Chief Knowledge Officer. Pay: - For Contractual Officer Rs. 1,20,000/- + Rs. 35,000/- (HRA) + Rs. 2500/- (Medical Insurance)+ Rs /- (EPF Contribution)+ Rs. 3000/- (Children Education Allowance on submission of claim) Gratuity on completion of 5 years tenure. Educational & Other Qualifications for Contractual appointment:- (i) Post Graduate with at least 15 years of experience in non- profit/social entrepreneurship organization of which at least 3 years in a leadership role. (ii) Familiarity with MAEF activities and schemes. (iii) Strong network in target communities. (iv) Comfort with social media. Primary Tasks/Responsibilities: Analyse data-based knowledge portals to explore and understand the status of minorities Identifying vulnerable groups across communities and geographies Building awareness of MAEF's schemes amongst target communities using media & other communication channels (includes conventional channels as well as social media). Developing intervention strategies which are suited to ground realities to increase the impact of the foundation. Provide inputs to the strategic team to decide strategic priorities and design appropriate interventions. Interact with CAO & COO to get necessary inputs for making decisions Manage public relations and represent MAEF at public fora Chief Public Information Officer for the organization Increasing the scope & reach of MAEF benefits across communities / geographies Coordination with state governments to increase awareness of MAEF schemes Developing measures of effectiveness & monitoring beneficiaries satisfaction with MAEF's services Recommending quota allocations across communities and regions based on Census data and funding priorities set by MAEF governing body. Provide leadership to the team

6 Pay for the Government officials on deputation will be the last pay drawn plus the HRA as fixed by MAEF and other allowances admissible as per the Government guidelines.
