1 REQUEST FOR QUOTATION Procurement of Medium Scale Machineries (RFQ - GLED/2016/06) The United Nations Development Programme in Sri Lanka invites eligible National and or international manufacturers, authorized dealers and or distributors to submit quotations for the following on an urgent basis. Any supplier who submits a quotation without conforming to the bidding documents will be considered as technically noncompliant and the offer will be rejected. No partial quotation within a lot will be accepted. All quotations must be clearly marked with (RFQ- GLED/2016/06) on the top left corner of the envelope. The deadline for the submission of the quotations is 30 th May 2016, 2.00 pm and all quotations must be sealed and delivered to the addresses below. Compact designed to install in a smaller space.

5 Terms and Conditions: Local supplier must be an authorized agent, reseller/distributor of the brands/models on offer and must show proof of such original authorization. Supplier must be a reputable agent, reseller/distributor with a minimum of 5 years in commercial operation. Awarded bidder must deliver and install equipment at identified location and obtain delivery note as well as acceptance of equipment in acceptable working order. No payments will be released until such documentation has been received. All test certificates/country of origin/catalogues/brochures/technical literature/minimum international standards must be included in the quotation. All warranties on parts, labour and material must be clearly indicated. Delivery period of equipment must be indicated (Minimum requirement: within one month of the purchase order). Ex-stock availability of equipment will be an added advantage and will be factored in to the evaluation. Partial biddings within the lot will not be accepted. Penalty charges and or cancellation of PO s will result for those bidders who have been awarded contracts and cannot deliver as per terms/conditions of Purchase Order. Payment Terms: Full/partial payment upon satisfactory completion of installation and commisioning. All quoted prices should be valid for 120 days from bid closing date. Provide list of client references within the last one year with contact details. UNDP will carry out client reference checking as part of the evaluation process.
