One module Two/Three module Four/Five module Empowering sorting performance The SORTEX A range inspection technologies together with InGaAs and PROfile (shape) provide the most profitable sorting performance in removing subtle colour defects and foreign material, as well as providing a uniform appearance with colour, size and shape grading. The SmartEject system and simultaneous resorting capabilities ensure accurate product rejection and the highest reject concentration, thereby minimising loss of good product. Ensuring consistent reliable operation Auto-calibration and product tracking provide consistent performance, together with sealed optical and control cabinets (IP5X) ensure a stable and reliable operation in dusty environments. Optimising productivity, lowering the cost of ownership Optimising productivity with durable broadband LED lighting and long-life serviceable ejectors reduces operational costs. SORTEX PolyVision detection technology Bühler s ground-breaking SORTEX PolyVision detection technology analyses the unique chemical composition of challenging polymer contaminants with greater effi ciency than ever before. Custom-built visible cameras Bühler s high defi nition color cameras which are designed and custom-built in house remove color defects such as unwanted colored PET fl akes, polyolyfi nes (including bottle caps) and foreign materials such as sticks and stones. InGaAs technology Enhanced InGaAs technology can detect defects which cannot be seen in the visible spectrum providing much better separation of good product from foreign material of the same colour. 12
