2 A digital traceability platform from upstream agriculture to the end consumer GS1 collaborative traceability platform Dedicated to all players of the agribusiness and logistics, this platform offers an online space where traceability can be shared with supply chain operators and consumers. The value of this extends far beyond regulatory frameworks relating to consumer safety or quality requirements specific to each business. Yet this is currently fragmented into as many systems as there are players to collect it. Without well established, highly structured communication and networks, this information is only marginally shared and used. For this reason, GS1 France is opening a collaborative exchange platform, to encourage the creation of innovative traceability applications.
