7 Assembly - Fitting Van Racking into Vehicle Caution Prior to drilling, so as not to cut or puncture fuel tanks, fuel lines, brake lines, electric wires, etc. Check behind or underneath drilling mounting locations. All floor mounting bolts near the fuel tank area should be installed from the underside of the vehicle, to guard against the fuel tank being punctured in the event of a collision. This would mean NOT using Blind Fasteners in this area! FIXING KIT COMPONENTS Bracket 4 VRFX M6 Nut 10 VRNUT M6 Bolt 10 VRBOLT M6 Washer 20 VRWASHER Remove the ply lining from the side of Place the built unit(s) into position Mark Bracket locations and drill holes 1 the vehicle if fitted. 2 3 into the double seam making sure when drilling not to go through the outer skin of the vehicle 4 Fix bracket to double seam using large 5 Fit the ply lining against the side of 6 washers and Nylon nuts (rotate bracket for shallow or deep fitting) the vehicle and carefully measure the bracket positions Cut out holes in the ply lining so that the brackets fit through 7 Refit the ply lining 8 Slide the racking unit(s) against the side 9 wall & fix to the brackets (you may need to drill suitable holes in the van racking frame to match the two. 7 Note: Illustrations not to scale

8 Assembly - Fitting Van Racking into Vehicle When fitting more than one unit in a run, If fixing to the floor is also required mark 10 then connect the two frames through 11 fixing locations through the base of the redundant fixing holes frames onto the floor off the vehicle 12 Remove the Racking unit(s) & carefully measure the bracket positions 13 From the underside of the vehicle drill the anchor holes making sure they are clear of any Fuel lines, Electrical Wires or that there is an adequate distance from the fuel tank 14 Refit & secure the Racking unit(s) 15 8 Note: Illustrations not to scale
