3 Schaefer Drive-In System (SDI) Launched in 2006, the newly designed Schaefer Drive-In (SDI) system is the answer to high-density storage and cost effectiveness all in one. Developed according to the draft of FEM Drive- In design code, the SDI system encompasses the following features: Roll-formed Pallet Rail No arms or brackets; non-spliced rail lengths up to 11,882mm are bolted directly to the post, enhanced the down aisle stability of the system. High Visual Plastic Lead in Guide High visibility yellow polypropylene front cover that doubles up as lead in guide for placement of pallet load, reduces potential damage to loads when entering into lane. Bracing Tower An original tower bracing system using a crossed braced frame for both plan and spine bracing, which creates a rigid braced tower, fixed at every 6-8 bays. Pallet Safety Back Stopper Installed on the ground for added security to assist in the correct alignment of pallets with each lane. Spring Mounted Column Protector A unique spring mount column protector which is design to absorb a 4000kg 2kmph without damaging the front post. Floor Mounted angle frame protector Floor mounted 75x75mm angle fixed to column protector to provide lead in has cut out to allow fitment close to frames to maximize aisle clearance, yet still providing protection to lower post, for accidental collision by pallets.

5 Schaefer Satellite System (SSS) The perfect compliment to SDI or any high-density storage systems, the Schaefer Satellite System (SSS) is versatile and highly effective in reducing handling time and increase overall productivity. No special handling equipment is needed. In fact SSS makes efficient use of the existing lift truck fleet with the following valuable features: Remote Operation Operates remotely via RF control with no external power source, i.e. simultaneous operation of the SSS and the operator. On-board Battery Comes with alternative on-board maintenance-free battery that allows full shift operations or quick change for round-the-clock operation. Re-charging The control module of SSS monitors and indicates when charging is needed. Special chargers are included with every set of on-board power batteries. Safety Lock The SSS comes with a patented safety lock that ensures it is secured to the forklift when picked up and transported to another rail channel. Safety Lock Quick Change Battery
