8 Turn your points into meaningful rewards Use your points for travel rewards Your points are worth 25% more when redeemed for flights through the ThankYou Travel Center, as compared to gift cards redeemed through the ThankYou Rewards collection. For example, 30,000 ThankYou Points can be redeemed for $300 in gift cards or $375 toward a flight on any airline, with no blackout dates. If you want to redeem for a travel reward but don t have enough ThankYou Points, you can use your Citi ThankYou Premier Card to pay the difference and redeem for flights, hotels, cruises, car rentals and activities. Shared points are valid for 90 days from the date received and expire 90 days after receipt. Up to 100,000 points can be shared and up to 100,000 points can be received in a calendar year. 14 Travel farther with added perks and protection No Foreign Transaction Fees on Purchases Whether you re traveling abroad or shopping on an international retailer s site, you can avoid paying foreign transaction fees on purchases you make with your card. For example, if you spend $2,000 on foreign purchases, you will avoid paying $60 in foreign transaction fees, based on a 3% fee that is charged on select Citi cards. 15 Lost Baggage Protection Say good-bye to baggage worries. If your checked or carry-on luggage is lost, stolen, or damaged by the common carrier while on a trip, you may be refunded the purchase price of the missing items or the cost to repair or replace the damaged items, whichever is less. To be eligible for coverage under this benefit, your Citi card and/or ThankYou Points must be used to purchase at least a portion of the Common Carrier fare. Trip Cancellation & Interruption Protection Travel plans can go awry for many reasons. If certain unforeseen events get in the way of your trip, you may be reimbursed for non-refundable trip expenses, like change fees. To be eligible for coverage under this benefit, your Citi card and/or ThankYou Points must be used to purchase at least a portion of the trip. Trip Delay Protection Expenses while you wait, like meals or lodging? No worries, it s covered. If your trip on a common carrier is delayed for at least 12 hours, you may be reimbursed for expenses incurred because of the delay. To be eligible for coverage under this benefit, your Citi card and/or ThankYou Points must be used to purchase at least a portion of the Common Carrier fare. Baggage Delay Protection If your common carrier checked baggage is delayed on a trip for more than 6 hours, you may be reimbursed for the cost of necessary personal and business items until the baggage arrives. 16 Make your trip memorable for all the right reasons Worldwide Car Rental Insurance Be more confident at the rental car counter you may be covered against theft or damage to a rental car when you pay for your rental with your Citi card and decline the rental company s collision loss/damage insurance. To be eligible for coverage under this benefit, your Citi card and/or ThankYou Points must be used to pay for the rental car. Travel & Emergency Assistance If you need assistance before or during a trip, services are available 24/7 for emergency travel arrangements, travel issues, medical and legal referrals and much more. You won t have to scramble to find services close to your location or worry about asking for help when you don t speak the language. Referrals or assistance is at no cost, but you will pay for the services you use. Worldwide Travel Accident Insurance Worldwide Travel Accident Insurance is a type of coverage that you hope to never need, but it may offer some financial help to you or your loved ones if a tragic common carrier accident does occur. To be eligible for coverage under this benefit, your Citi card and/or ThankYou Points must be used to purchase the full amount of the Common Carrier fare for the Covered Traveler(s). Roadside Assistance Dispatch Service Get help 24/7 with a single call when car problems strike. If you have car trouble while you re on the road in any of the 50 United States, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands you can request for assistance to be sent directly to your location. 17 Make purchases with peace of mind Citi Price Rewind Let Citi Price Rewind search for you. Citi Price Rewind searches for a lower price at hundreds of online merchants on the registered items you pay for with your Citi card. If the same item is found at a lower price within 60 days of your initial purchase date, you may receive the difference between the price you paid and the lower price found by Citi Price Rewind up to $500 per item and up to $2,500 per calendar year per account. Visit citipricerewind.com to get started. Extended Warranty Extends the manufacturer s warranty for 24 months so you can feel more confident when you make purchases with your Citi card. To be eligible for coverage, you must pay for the item at least in part with your Citi card and/or ThankYou Points. Damage & Theft Purchase Protection Shop with more confidence Damage & Theft Purchase Protection may cover you for repairs or a refund if purchases made with your Citi card are damaged or stolen within 120 days of purchase (90 days for New York residents). To be eligible for coverage, you must pay for the item at least in part with your Citi card and/or ThankYou Points. 90 Day Return Protection If you try to return an item within 90 days of purchase and the merchant won t take it back, you may be refunded the purchase price up to $500 per item and $2,500 per year. 19 $0 Liability on Unauthorized Charges Whether online or at a store, if someone uses your card without consent, you won t have to worry about paying for charges you didn t authorize. Billing Dispute Resolution If there s a problem with a purchase made using your Citi ThankYou Premier Card, we will gladly serve as the liaison between you and the vendor to help resolve the issue quickly. The Lost Wallet Service If you ve lost your card, we ll replace it, usually within 24 hours. In addition, we ll provide you with emergency cash, subject to your available revolving credit limit and cash advance limit. 11 Fraud Early Warning Our Fraud Early Warning monitors your account to help detect potentially fraudulent transactions. If we see suspicious activity, we will take appropriate actions to protect your account, including contacting you to validate the transactions. Citi Identity Theft Solutions Identity theft can be a traumatizing experience. Luckily, our team of dedicated Identity Theft Specialists are invested in helping you contact credit bureaus, assisting with police reports and offering any other assistance to get your life back in order. On the day of the scheduled payment, the cash from your redeemed ThankYou Points will be deposited and the full amount of your bill payment will be deducted from your checking account.
