The RFP states the required turnaround time for delivery from the time of PO issued is 30 days unless specified with reason. How pertinent is this 30 days turnaround time? If our price is the most competitive, would 60 days turnaround time be acceptable? See Special Condition #6, Prices/Delivery. Delivery locations are notes as various throughout the state. Freight companies vary in pricing greatly depending on the distance. Could I get more details as to the quantity and zip codes where the products will be delivered to? Or will your location at Tallahassee, Florida be the central location for most deliveries? See Special Condition #31, Delivery Location(s). Quantities will vary depending on prices, need, and availability of budget. Are we able to bid in the items that pertain to us (promotional vs. actual bicycles) OR do you have to bid on everything? Please clarify(para 42) which items on the Bid Sheet will require forwarding samples and testing. Answer 13 Question 14 Answer 14 Question 15 This requirement is for promotional items only. Item 12 on Bid Sheet page 2 calls for 50,000 Light Sets. Please confirm or correct the Estimated Quantity The estimated quantities are stated on the Bid Sheets. See Introduction Section #6, Estimated Purchases. I know the bid states the information below about delivery, but do you have a zip codes to the locations where some of these items will be going? We want to make sure we provide the most accurate quote possible. DELIVERY LOCATION(S) The point of delivery for this contract will be at various locations within the state; bid prices shall include delivery to these locations. Answer 15 See answer to Question 6. Question 16 Answer 16 Question 17 we are looking into participating in the government bid and we went over what was needed. But, bikes do not come with solid tires, and the training wheels are not aluminum. Please advise me on what you would like Bid as specified or approved equivalent. See Special Condition #10, Alternates. Must all 12 items be bid on, or can a company bid on items 5-12 for example?

4 Answer 17 See answer to Question 2. Question 18 How certain are the estimated quantities? For example, does the DOT really need a bid for 50,000 sets of bicycle lights? I ask because there is a great deal of difference in price per unit in 50,000 sets and 5,000 sets. Answer 18 See answer to Question 14. Question 19 What if certain requirements are commercially impossible. For example, on item 11, there is a requirement for 6 wheels with aluminum bearings. To our knowledge, there is no such item as aluminum bearings for training wheels. We have extensive knowledge in the cycling industry. We attend cycling industry trade shows around the world and have been in business since In our experience, the bearings for such an item will be steel. Answer 19 See answer to Question 16 Question 20 Answer 20 Question 21 Answer 21 Question 22 We understand this is a bid for a 1 year contract. However, from the time the bid winner is announced, when might a PO be issued? How long after that PO is issued are the goods expected to be delivered? Will deliver take place all at once or is the estimated quantity set for delivery throughout the year? See Special Condition #6, Prices/Delivery See Special Condition #34 and 35 for orders It states that each set contains 16 signs.. are you saying you want x16 of the Registration sign.. x16 of the Helmet Fit signs.. and so on? If not, how many sets of x16 are there? And basically, I have the same question regarding the obstacles/signs.. but I feel that an answer to my first question will answer sufficiently on both topics. There could be quite a price difference as we re set up on a quantity based pricing structure.. so it s in your best interest to communicate the quantity (particularly if it s a large quantity) upfront. The ITB states 10 sets. So for the Station Signs, each set contains 16 signs. 10 sets of 16 signs will equal 160 pieces. There are 6 signs and obstacles designs. One of each is needed except for the stop sign. We need 2 stop signs. So there will be a total of 7 signs per set. Seven signs times 10 sets will be 70 pieces. For the cost per unit quote, are you looking for the base cost or a cost inclusive of any set up charges, shipping, etc. This could get tricky as costs can vary if you have multiple color or multiple location imprints. We make it our policy to disclose all possible charges to our customers so nothing sneaks up on you but I don t want to bid too high if I am the only one including these charges. Also, if the extra charges are included- are you tax exempt?

5 Answer 22 Question 23 Answer 23 All charges need to be included in each price. There will only be one print location for each item. We are tax exempt. I have reviewed numerous products trying to match with your specs. However, there is no way to meet all of these specs. The cheapest models of bicycles are hi-tensile steel rather than aluminum. The least inexpensive bikes are also going to all have the coaster brake rather than the hand brake that is requested on the 24" model. Solid rubber tires are also quite pricey which is definately not going to meet your expected budget. All bikes would come with regular tires that require a tube. The pictures of the bicycles that accompany the specs do not match the specs listed. I presume that you are simply looking for inexpensive bikes for kids that match the pictures? The pictures are used as samples. They are not meant to depict the actual bicycle the Department is requesting. Please quote according to the specifications that are provided or approved equivalent. See Special Condition #10, Alternates Solid Rubber tires are requested. I am also unsure about the bicycle lights you have listed. All lights are going to meet the distance specs but they will all require a basic phillips screwdriver to install on the bicycle itself unless we go with very cheap ones that have an elastic/velcro band that holds them on. The ones pictured on the spec would also require a phillips to install. I have attached pics of a few different lights. The specs are listed below. They are listed from cheapest to most expensive. There is pretty much a dollar difference between each of the models. Please let me know which ones would best suit your needs. We are in the process of preparing our bid. We would like to know The delivery locations for the items that are being requested so that we may conclude our bid properly with including shipping charges. Question 25 We like delivery addresses to where each item is going. Are we shipping to one location or to several locations? If several, which items are going where?
