1 What is it? Star Card Program The Star Card is a year-round discount card made available to all employees and retirees of the Rockingham County School system How does it work? Under this program, merchants and businesses offer a discount for products and services. Some discounts are year-round and some have a specific time frame. Where can it be found The Star Card is now part of your employee identification badge. It also serves as your pass to school sponsored Rockingham County athletic events (not good for playoff games or games outside the county). What if I leave the school system? The card remains the property of the Board of Education and must be returned if employment is discontinued. What if I lose or misplace my card? If the card is lost or misplaced, send $3 along with your name, social security number and your school name to the Human Resources Department.
