2 Glencore Nickel Assets Pre-eminent global nickel producer RAGLAN MINE The Raglan Mine site located at the limit of Northern Quebec in Canada includes three underground mines (Katinniq, Mine 2 and Kikialik), a concentrator, power plant and support infrastructure. We operate nickel facilities in Canada, New Caledonia, Australia and Norway utilizing a wide range of metallurgical processes. With annual production of more than 148,000 tonnes of nickel, we produce some of the world s purest nickel, ferronickel and cobalt, whilst being a major recycler and processor of nickel and cobalt-bearing materials. NIKKELVERK Nikkelverk is a low-cost, highrecovery refinery in Kristiansand, Norway, that processes nickel, copper, cobalt, PMs and PGMs. Nikkelverk is one of the largest suppliers of electrolytic nickel with a product purity amongst the highest in the world. KNS Ferronickel will be supplied in bulk containers as dry, solid, non-friable shot in a size range of 3-50mm suitable for mechanised conveyance. A small portion of minus 3mm fines will also be available in 2,000kg bags. MINARA NICKEL BRIQUETTES Minara Nickel Briquettes (>99.8% Ni) are a high purity product produced via a proven hydrometallurgical process that meets the ASTM B39 specifications for refined nickel metal. Minara briquettes are a very versatile product, with applications in low alloy foundries, and both large specialty alloy and stainless steel mills. The handling properties are excellent, due to their size, shape and ability to flow freely from storage bins, bulk bags and bulk containers. Minara Nickel Briquettes are offered in 2,000kg bulk bags.

5 NIKKELVERK A-GRADE NICKEL Nikkelverk A-Grade Nickel (>99.98% Ni) is typically used in melting applications and is available as whole cathodes, 50mm and 100mm squares. Whole untrimmed cathodes are offered in approximately 1,000kg bundles. 100mm squares are offered in 4 x 200kg steel drums or a 1,500kg wooden box. 50mm squares are offered in 4 x 250kg steel drums or 2,000kg polypropylene big bags. All packaging options come on skids to facilitate material handling. NIKKELVERK SUPERELECTRO NICKEL Nikkelverk SUPERELECTRO Nickel (>99.99% Ni) is a further improvement of Nikkelverk high purity electrolytic nickel products where specific trace element levels have been further reduced to meet the most exacting requirements of superalloy manufacturers. Its consistently low carbon content has made SUPERELECTRO the preferred material for a number of applications, such as single crystal superalloys. Nikkelverk SUPERELECTRO is available as 50mm squares offered in 4 x 250kg steel drums or 2,000kg polypropylene big bags. All packaging options come on skids to facilitate material handling. NIKKELVERK NICKEL CROWNS Nikkelverk Nickel CROWNS (>99.98% Ni) were specifically developed and patented by Nikkelverk to provide an improved alternative to sheared cathode squares for use in titanium baskets in electroplating. Nickel CROWNS are hemispherical with a base diameter of approximately 22mm. The nickel CROWN shape provides smooth-flowing, easy handling properties and promotes good settling in anode baskets, important in preventing void formation and basket damage. A preference for nickel CROWNS over other forms is the result of significant cost savings, superior dissolution performance and handling characteristics. The smooth, rounded form of nickel CROWNS has also allowed Nikkelverk to develop a unique packaging design to enable improved operator efficiency. CROWNS are offered in 4 x 250kg steel drums and 100 x 10kg polyethylene bags in a wooden box. All packaging options come on skids to facilitate material handling.

6 NIKKELVERK NICKEL D-CROWNS Nikkelverk Nikkelverk Nickel D-CROWNS (>99.95% Ni) are a sulphur-depolarized form of our high purity electrolytic nickel CROWNS. D-CROWNS are hemispherical with a base diameter of approximately 22mm. They were developed for those electroplaters and electroformers who have a preference for a depolarized anode product. D-CROWNS add to the versatility of the company product line and the typical sulphur content of 220ppm allows the product to be used over a wide range of operating conditions.metallic impurity levels are consistently low, as in other Nikkelverk electrolytic nickel products. D-CROWNS are offered in 4 x 250kg steel drums and 100 x 10kg polyethylene bags in a wooden box. All packaging options come on skids to facilitate material handling. NIKKELVERK NICKEL MICROCROWNS Nikkelverk Nickel MICROCROWNS (>99.98% Ni) were developed to satisfy a need for a small anode form that has the desirable properties of electrolytic nickel and the purity and consistency for which Nikkelverk is recognized. MICROCROWNS are hemispherical, with a base diameter of approximately 12mm. Their small size and shape ensure smooth-flowing and good settling characteristics, which are particularly important when using narrow or special-shaped titanium baskets, especially in electroforming. As for the crowns and the Nikkelverk electrolytic plating cathode, the consistently low impurity levels ensure a minimal amount of anode residue when using MICROCROWNS. MICROCROWNS are offered in 4 x 250kg steel drums and 100 x 10kg polyethylene bags in a wooden box. All packaging options come on skids to facilitate material handling.

7 NIKKELVERK PLATING NICKEL Nikkelverk Plating Nickel (>99.98% Ni) is tailored for use as anodes in electroplating applications and is available as 25mm, 50mm and 100mm squares. The high purity of the electrolytic nickel is preferred in plating applications due to the low level of insoluble residue generated. 100mm squares are offered in 4 x 200kg steel drums or a 1,500kg wooden box. 50mm squares are offered in 4 x 250kg steel drums or 2,000kg polypropylene big bags. 25mm squares are offered in 4 x 250kg steel drums, 100 x 10kg polyethylene bags packed in a wooden box or 2,000kg polypropylene big bags. 8 Nickel is a vital resource The nickel we extract is at the heart of many vital products and services, from the building blocks of new cities to everyday items like cutlery, and the high-precision metals used to produce mobile phones or jet engines. Nickel is at work behind the sleek exterior of the latest touch-screen cell phones. Our nickel is used in the microphones, electrical connections and batteries of mobile devices around the world. The automotive industry purchases roughly 90,000 tonnes of nickel every year We store, transport, prepare and heat foods in the safest and cleanest way in history because of food-grade nickel-containing stainless steel. Dairy farms depend on it to procure, pasteurize, store and transport milk. Surgical equipment and instruments require stringent sterilization and cleaning. Nickel-containing stainless steel can withstand these sterilization processes while remaining resistant to corrosion. A single wind turbine generally contains 500 kg of nickel and a typical nuclear reactor uses up to 20 different nickel alloys. Nickel is also used in new energy solutions such as fuel cells, concentrating solar power, and cellulosic ethanol. Hybrid cars with nickel metal hybrid batteries produce 50% less pollution and greenhouse gases than comparable gasoline cars.
