2 Intro Documentation and Test Management to strengthen the Single Source of Truth for Coop Norway Learn how Coop Norway combines the Documentation and Test Management module in SAP Manager to strengthen the Single Source of Truth. With Documentation Assistance (SDA), the critical business processes are identified. Then automated test script are created using Component Based Test Automation (CBTA) which enables Coop to run regression test of the most critical processes without increasing addition costs.

7 CBTA - In Coop Norge Overall experience Easily implemented by using EGI service (Enterprise Support Customer) Easy to record single scripts without any need of enrichment, but with need for enrichment VB scripting is like coding and can be complex Detailed debugging functionality with easy maintenance of the scripts Advantage that test scripts can be reused with different TDC Requires extended CBTA knowledge to create composite tests scripts (bind a collection of single scripts) Informative final test report Works with Test Management concept (BPCA, Test Workbench etc.) Reduce effort and cost related to regression test Discovered limitations* Script cannot be run as a background job, only in dialog Composite test scripts between systems (ex ECC, SCM) does not work without wrapping the scripts with an additional single script Scenarios using Drag&Drop features cannot be recorded Internet Explorer is the only browser being supported for now *For more general limitations see note
