3 ADDENDUM NUMBER 1 TO THE BID DOCUMENTS To all general contract bidders of record on the Bid Proposal titled: BID DOCUMENT G Physical Security Project (Phase II) San Jose City College Addendum Date: September 8, 2017 A. This Addendum shall be considered part of the bid documents for the above mentioned project as though it had been issued at the same time and shall be incorporated integrally therewith. Where provisions of the following supplementary data differ from those of the original bid documents, this Addendum shall govern and take precedence. B. Bidders are hereby notified that they shall make any necessary adjustments in their estimates as a result of this Addendum. It will be construed that each bidder's proposal is submitted with full knowledge of all modifications and supplemental data specified herein. The bid documents are modified and clarified, as follows: Item #1 Bid Question #1 Can a C10 license bid as a prime contractor for this project and use a B license as a sub. Most of the work involved is for a C7 or C10 license. Response to Question #1 This contract requires a B license as the prime contractor. - Document Bid Proposal 4. Contractor s License. The undersigned Bidder is currently and duly licensed in accordance with the California Contractors License Law, California Business & Professions Code , under the following classification _B - General Building bearing License Number, with expiration date of. The Bidder certifies that: (a) it is duly licensed, in the necessary class(es), for performing the Work of the Contract Documents; (b) that such license shall be in full force and effect throughout the duration of the performance of the Work under the Contract Documents; and (c) that all Subcontractors providing or performing any portion of the Work shall be so properly licensed to perform or provide such portion of the Work. Item #3 Honeywell MaxPro NVR and Eaton UPS shown to be installed at Student Services and serving all the parking garage cameras to be relocated to new server rack being installed in Parking Garage Electrical room. NVR serving Student Service s cameras to remain and be installed in Student Services telecom room as indicated. Drawing ES-1.1; Move sheet note #5 from Student Services to Parking Structure. Item #4 Install Honey MaxPro NVR and Eaton UPS inside Parking Garage electrical room new server rack. Connect all Parking Garage cameras to the new NVR. Drawing E-1.19; Add reference sheet note #12: Install Honeywell MaxPro HNMPE32B324S NVR (26TB storage) and Eaton 5PX1500RT in IT rack at network switch location. Connect 20 new cameras in the interior of the parking garage to PSVS network switch and configure to record as specified. Drawing E-1.19, detail 1; Add reference sheet note #12 to new server rack in electrical room. Item #5 Provide and install 46 flat screen monitor, NEC 463 (or equal), with a Chief Fusion MSMVU (or equal) wall mount in the Dispatch room SC-108I. Provide 120V receptacle for monitor. Intercept and extend receptacle feeding existing monitors. Route ¾ C.- (2)#10 + #10 GND. Receptacle to be recessed behind new monitor. Cut, patch, and paint wall to match existing conditions. Confirm exact location with District prior to installing. Provide (2) 24 desktop monitors, Dell U2412U (or equal) for District provided workstations. 5 DOCUMENT POST BID INTERVIEW PART 1 GENERAL 1.01 SUMMARY By request of the District, this Section requires the apparent low bidder to attend and participate in a Post Bid Interview with the Construction Manager, prior to award of any contract by the District. The Post Bid Interview will be scheduled by the Construction Manager within three (3) calendar days after the date of bid REQUIRED ATTENDANCE A. A duly authorized representative(s) of the apparent low bidder is required to attend the Post Bid Interview, in person. B. The apparent low bidder s authorized representative must have signatory authority on behalf of the apparent low bidder. C. Failure to attend the Post Bid Interview will be considered just cause for the District to reject the Bid POST BID INTERVIEW PROCEDURE A. The Construction Manager will review the Bid with the attendees. B.
