1 CENTRAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION, 2, COMMUNITY CENTRE, PREET VIHAR, DELHI TENDER NOTICE Sealed tenders are invited from reputed civil contractors registered with the CPWD, NDMC, DDA, MES, Railway etc. for execution of balcony recasting work of LIG flats at Brij Vihar, Ghaziabad. The agency must have executed atleast two works of similar nature. Estimated cost : Rs. 2.0 lakh E.M.D. : Rs. 5,000/- in the form of DD/BD payable in favour of the Secretary, CBSE, Delhi Cost of Tender : Rs. 200/- Tenders available at Syndicate Bank E.C. CBSE, Preet Vihar, against cash payment between A.M to 1.00 P.M. on any working day. Last date for issue of tender : upto 1.00 p.m Submission of tenders : upto 3.00 p.m. Opening of Tenders : at 3.30 p.m. Tender can also be down- loaded from CBSE Website for which Rs. 200/- in cash be remitted to the aforesaid bank and cash receipt be enclosed with the tender. EMD and experience documents must be attached with the tender and submitted in a sealed envelop superscribed Tender for Balcony Work. Incomplete and conditional tenders shall be summarily rejected. Rates are to be quoted in words and figures without any cutting/overwriting. 3. Analysis of rates must be attached with the tender. 4. The agency should quote the rates only after visiting the site and proper assessment of work. 5. Prescribed enclosures be attached with the Tender. 6. Tender must be signed by the authorized signatory. 7. The tenders shall be opened on at 3.30 p.m. in the presence of the tenderers. 8. Any additional information required by CBSE in respect of the Work - experience shall be submitted by the tenderers within three days, failing which the offer shall not be entertained. 9. Tenders received without E.M.D. of Rs. 5,000/- in the form of BD/DD shall be summarily rejected.

7 IMPORTANT TERMS & CONDITIONS i) The work has to be executed as per the CPWD s specifications and the approved drawings. ii) The agency shall have to depute a Site Supervisor to co-ordinate the work. iii) The work has to be completed within 3 month from the issue of the work order. iv) The measurements shall be done jointly. v) All T&P shall be arranged by the agency. vi) The agency shall be liable for the safety of the manpower employed for the work. vii) In case of delay, a penalty of 1% (one) per week shall be levied. viii) In case of hindrance, Hindrance Register shall be maintained by the J.E. (Civil). ix) The agency shall submit a list of the workers employed on the site. x) One running payment shall only be considered during the course of execution of work, if the work is upto the satisfaction of this office. xi) In case of unsatisfactory work, the agency has to re-do the same, failing which work shall be got executed at his risk & cost. Any extra expenditure on such works shall be recovered from the defaulting agency. xii) In case of any dispute, the arbitrator shall be appointed by the Chairman and his decision shall be binding on both the parties. xiii) In case the successful tenderer fails to complete the work in part or in whole, as the case may be, the order shall be cancelled and will be given to the next successful tenderare and the penalty as deemed fit by the Competent Authority shall be imposed on the tenderer who fails to execute the work.
