Description Kingspan Gefinex Geficell Flanking Insulation Strips were developed by the copany Gefinex back in the early 1980s and quickly established itself as a standard product in the construction industry. More than three decades later, we are still working to optiise our Flanking Insulation Strips on a continuous basis and guarantee a high level of functionality. The Flanking Insulation Strip is siply placed up against or attached to the wall, before the levelling layer, insulating aterial or floor screed is introduced. 6 Kingspan Gefinex Geficell Kingspan Gefinex Geficell staple Flanking Insulation Strips are subject to a special type of production. Until it they are used on the building site, they are only half as thick and yet double the height of its final state once installed. The lower half of the Flanking Insulation Strip is stapled onto the wall, whilst the upper half is then siply folded down. PE T-RDS Staple Flanking Insulation Strip The proble-solver PE T-FRDS Staple Flanking Insulation Strip with Tape Flap The ultiate one This prevents any sound bridges fro being created at a later stage. 7 Kingspan Gefi nex Gefi cell PR 5/50 Mini Plus was developed in order to allow for further work including, for exaple, odernisation, once the oor screed has been laid. The Flanking Insulation Strip is installed on top of the screed layer. Kingspan Gefi nex Gefi cell SK is perfect for the airtight connection between two different structural parts. Whether wood, asonry, concrete or steel the particular type of substrate is irrelevant. PR 5/50 Mini Plus The saviour SK Acoustic Decoupler The well-balanced one Due to the fact that it is affi xed to the screed with an adhesive strip, the Flanking Insulation Strip is stable and aligns itself evenly along the wall. No additional ounting onto the wall is required. After copletion of the priing or levelling layer and after the ooring has been laid, the protruding PE foa is then tried down ush with the level of the ooring. It is used in those cases where noral Kingspan Gefi nex Gefi cell Flanking Insulation Strips are not high enough for the levelling layer or where the strips have already been tried down. Product Properties The PR 5/50 ini plus is ade fro PE foa with a stable base ade fro HD foa. The base is coated with an adhesive layer underneath. The PE foa is elastic in the long ter, does not absorb any oisture and does not erge with the other priing or levelling layers. Product Inforation Siply paste the whole surface of the strip on a clean and dry area and connect it with the second structural eleent. The SK strip serves the purpose of sound decoupling in this constellation, as well as foring an airtight joint. Kingspan Gefi nex Gefi cell SK is ideal for levelling out any unevenness between different structural eleents. Moreover, it also acts as a sound insulator in this constellation. Product Properties The Kingspan Gefi nex Gefi cell SK acoustic decoupling strip is ade, like all other perieter insulation strips, fro closed-cell, highly elastic PE foa.
