2 Introduction The Renewables Academy (RENAC) AG in cooperation with the German-Mexican Chamber of Industry and Commerce organizes a fact-finding mission for Mexican energy experts from February 04-07, 2019 in Germany. The four-day fact-finding mission focuses on the topic Solar Energy and is part of the German Energy Solutions Initiative which is supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. The aim is to provide the delegates a comprehensive overview of the German solution approaches in the field of PV, Solar Thermal and Storage Technologies. On February 04 th, 2019, a kick-off event with network meetings will take place in Berlin. RENAC AG, CAMEXA, German experts and multipliers in this field will provide practical information on the current market trends, key market players and the latest technologies. The following days, the participants will visit reference projects and companies in Berlin and Brandenburg, showcasing their product portfolio, production insights and the applied technology solutions. The participants will learn about the specific challenges and solution approaches concerning the design of framework conditions and standards/norms and look at implementation examples in East of Germany. During the site visits, a chartered bus will be provided by RENAC for transportation of the Mexican delegation. All transits to site visits will start from Motel One Berlin Hakescher Markt The working language during the trip will be Spanish with two translators for German-Spanish, who accompany the trip Please note that the organization of the visit is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy and covers the costs of the organization, coordination and the bus transportation for the site visits in Berlin
