The following models are proposed to be developed for this purpose.. Cotton seed and its structure. 2. Germination of Seed of Cotton. 3. Cotton Flower development and structure. 4. Cotton fruit development and structure. 5. Emasculation, pollination and crossing in cotton 6. Agricultural field depicting seed production technology in cotton. The details of the prescriptions of the models\diorama of cotton to be inducted in Hightech park/museum may be referred at website and are given in the enclosed proposal sheets for Exhibit Designers. You may also personally visit our high- Tech Exhibition. It is requested to please submit your financial and technical proposals for developing the above themes in the form of a dynamic/static 2D and 3 D models, relief models, panels etc.. These must include aspects related to dynamic movements, light and sound with bilingual narration. The submission should take note of the annexure and the conditions to be fulfilled and ensure compliance with the laid guidelines. The submission received will require a presentation describing the concept and approach by the interested parties. The proposal will be addressed to Professor and Head, Department of Seed Science and Technology and the Chairman of the Committee for induction of cotton seed production technology module to High Tech exhibition, Junagadh Agricultural university, Junagadh (Gujarat State). 2 Attention Exhibit Designers Sealed quotations are invited by Professor and Head, Department of Seed Science and Technology and Chairman of the committee, Junagadh, (Gujarat State) from Exhibit designers worked earlier on projects of similar nature for various exhibitions for design, fabrication, decoration and display of theme based permanent exhibition on the component of "Cotton Seeds and Seed Production Technologies" in the already Existing High tech Exhibition in Junagadh Agricultural University. The project will require Interpretation of subject theme Conceptualization Designing the exhibition and planning the exhibits in already existing high tech exhibition on seed production technology which you may visit personally. Fabrication Installation Bidders must furnish full data and information as required in this tender document. Award of work against the tender is at the sole discretion of Professor and Head, Dept. of Seed Science and Technology and Chairman of the committee for Models-High-tech park/museum, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh (Gujarat State). Earnest Money Deposit (EMD): All s are required to enclose a Pay order /Bank Draft of Rs. 40,000 in favour of JAU Fund Account, Junagadh as refundable Earnest Money Deposit (EMD). Bids received without EMD are liable to be rejected. Eligibility Criteria for Bidders: Agencies fulfilling the following criteria are eligible to bid: i) Having experience of design, fabrication, decoration, printing paneling, and display, with academic and research based institution, and ii) The should have worked on projects of similar nature with the state government agencies/university/public institute. The tender lays equal emphasis on the conceptualization and approach describing the project theme. The interested parties must reflect these in the bid submitted. The concerned agency will have to submit design and placement along with details and map of exhibits to be supported by presentation on above mentioned theme.

3 Submission of proposals and selection process: The s are required to submit two Separate Sealed Envelopes placed within an outer envelope as mentioned below: First envelope super scribed "Technical Bid" should contain the particulars in the desired format with concept, approach and designs. Second envelope super-scribed "Financial Bid" should contain the consolidated financial quote for the scope of work defined in this tender in- toto. A breakup of the major cost elements has to be furnished along with the financial bid. However, for the purpose of evaluation of bids, only the consolidated quote shall be considered. The agencies are required to understand the work properly before quoting the rates. The two sealed covers as above should be placed in an outer envelope named and duly marked as - "Bid for Permanent Exhibition on Seeds" Unsealed quotations are liable to be rejected. General Terms & Conditions The designated agency, once decided by the committee after the technical presentation of the model concept as described above, will carry out research, data collection, writing, editing, copy writing, illustrations etc. and would present the idea of the models, sculptures and interactive and participatory exhibits if any. Approvals for content and final design ideas will have to be obtained from the appointed officers of the committee specially constituted for the purpose. The work is to be executed in toto basis, including electrical points and required fitting. The agency should submit details of at least two exhibitions actually installed by them. Resume of the designer/agency should be attached. The agency should have sufficient experience with the subject matter (Biology) with deep-seated knowledge of Gujarat's Agriculture. Please submit photographs of at least two work carried out in the recent past with name of exhibitions and clients clearly marked on the pictures. The agency is requested to submit its concepts (idea document) along with a floor plan indicating placement of the exhibit in the already existing high tech park. The agency is also requested to give its financial proposal along with a broad break-up of materials to be consumed for the fabrication of the approval exhibits. A letter of introduction/recommendation from reputed individuals and organizations in the field of exhibition design will be appreciated. Chosen party or agency will be asked to make a detailed presentation to the committee along with a detailed financial proposal. The proposal may be submitted to the Professor and Head, Dept. of Seed Science and Technology and Chairman of the committee for High-tech park/museum Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh (Gujarat State) by 6.30 hrs on

4 The parties shall present and discuss the proposals with the organizing committee at 5 hrs on in the office of Professor and Head, DSST, JAU Junagadh. Award of Work: A work order will be issued to the successful. The successful shall have to execute the work as per the tender conditions. Validity of Tender: All the bids shall be valid for acceptance without any change in prices and rates for a period of 90 days from the last date for submission of bids/technical presentation by the parties. Professor and Head, DSST and Chairman of the committee for Models-High-tech park/museum, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh (Gujarat State) reserves the right to accept or reject any bid without assigning any reasons, whatsoever. Professor and Head, DSST and Chairman of the committee for Models-High-tech park/museum Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh (Gujarat State) is not bound to accept the lowest bid. Recovery of Security Deposit & mode of Payment: Security held by the DSST shall attract no interest. The Agency shall permit the DSST at the time of making any payment to him for Work done under the Contract for following mode of Payments: The Earnest Money Deposit of Rs. 40,000/ will be converted in to Security-Deposit. After completion of the Work on each stage, payment shall be made against the Bill as under :- 25% on completion of Stage (i.e. submission of design of the model with concept plan): as certified by us. 35% on completion of Stage 2 (i.e. Completion of 2 D models and 3 D models with suitable background) as certified by us, 30% on completion of Stage 3 (i.e. erection of 3 D models along with total working dynamism and light and sound effect synchronized with narration & necessary casing and decoration) as certified by us. 0% shall be retained as security deposit for a period of twelve months w.e.f. the date of actual completion and finishing as certified by us. The above payment condition will be based on the progress of work and will take into consideration percentage of work completed which may include both static and dynamic models and their stages of completion. Since the project involves innovative mechanism in concept and execution and will require regular discussions and will involve finalization of best possible design options, thus requiring any amendment during the course of work, Professor and Head, DSST and Chairman of the committee for Models-High-tech park/museum Junagadh Agricultural.

5 Junagadh, (Gujarat State) reserves the right to suggest amendments and additional work with the scope of project, and may consider supporting the cost element based on mutual agreement not exceeding 0 percent of the total cost. Force -Majeure: The entire scope of Work in totality shall be completed in all respects within the stipulated time as agreed by the Agency, as above under the Contract for work. In the event the Agency fails to complete the work within the stipulated time period, such act of non-completion will constitute default on the part of the Agency and Professor and Head, DSST and Chairman of the committee for Models-High-tech park/museum Junagadh Agricultural. Junagadh (Gujarat State) shall be entitled to terminate the Contract and the Agency/Party has to return back the entire amount paid so far with immediate effect at any point of time. Within Ten days of the award of the Contract by DSST, the Agency shall furnish to the DSST a detailed program chart for the Work, Procurement schedules and all related resource schedules. Work as per this Program chart will commence immediately as per the contract. The schedule may, however be amended if required. Amendment, if any, shall be conveyed by Professor and Head, DSST and Chairman of the committee for demonstration Models-High-tech park/museum, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh (Gujarat State) in writing to the Agency. The Agency shall closely monitor the progress of Work and shall complete the Work within the time scheduled. The Agency shall apply in writing to the Professor and Head, DSST and Chairman of the committee for Models-High-tech park/museum Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh (Gujarat State) for extension of time, setting out the reason for the same. This includes interpretation of subject theme conceptualization designing the exhibits. placement of the exhibition in the already existing High Tech exhibition. fabrication installation
