Page 2 f 6 1. CALCULATE PRICES & PLACE ORDERS ON POOLING SERVICES T get a price and/r a frmal ffer. 1. Lg in. a. G t www.eurcircuits.cm. Click Lgin. On new screen enter yur user name and passwrd and click Lgin. b. Click Calculate and Order n the left f the screen. 2. Chse a service. Optins are: a. Click All. Yu will get prices fr all pssible services using Eurcircuits default technlgy. Fr example, if yu enter a bard as 2 layers in 5 days and 2 ff yu will get prices fr PCB prt, STANDARD pl and TECH pl. b. Click the service yu require. Fr On demand yu will be switched t Place an inquiry as this is nt a pling service. 3. Chse a technlgy. Optins are: a. Eurcircuits default technlgy (nly ptin fr PCB prt). Click n the link t see the default settings and minimum values fr each service. b. Enter technical specificatin. Select frm the ptins available fr each service. Fr mre infrmatin n the ptins available see 8 belw c. Yur default technlgy. Save yur selectin(s) fr later rders. See 9 belw. Fr example: my bards always have tw legends and lead-free HAL finish 4. Chse single bard, panel, r stencil. Optins are: a. Single bard b. Panel. Fr ptins see 10 belw c. Order a stencil, see 11 belw. 5. Get a price a. Enter the PCB name, the number f layers, delivery and quantity required, and the panel size. b. Yu can als enter an inquiry number and ther references. See 12 belw. c. Click Calculate a price. 6. Save the price and get a frmal ffer. Click Save ffer. A PDF file will pen and the ffer will be stred in Offer tracking under the Price Requests and Offers tab. Yu can then place an rder later withut re-entering the data, see Place an rder p.4. 7. Place an immediate rder See Place an rder p.4. 8. Select yur technlgy ptins Yu can select and save different technlgy ptins fr all services except PCB prt. Bxes shw default settings where n ptins are available. If yu need ther ptins, check the ther services. Fr a full list f all ptins, g t Cmpare ur PCB prttype services n the hme page. Guidance ntes: a. Technlgy tab i. Track width uter layer t Smallest finished hle size bxes. These are set as default at the minimum values available fr the standard base cpper fils in each service. Higher values d nt affect the price. Thicker fils need higher minimum values fr track width, islatin and annular rings. Fr these check yur design against ur Classificatin table. Bnding pads. Tick this bx if yu have specified gld ver nickel finish and will use pads fr wirebnding. This is useful infrmatin fr ur prductin. It has n cst implicatin. v. Milling. Use this bx t specify slts r internal cut-uts. Chse the largest cutter that will make the slt (e.g. fr a 1.5 mm slt chse 1.2 mm cutter). Otherwise select yur chice f finish. ii. Bare bard test. All multilayer bards are tested autmatically. Tick this bx if yu want bare bard testing n 1 2 layer bards. iii. UL marking (nt available fr IMS pl). Tick if required. UL marking will be added t a legend layer r as indicated by yur drawing. iv. Peel-ff mask. Fr mre infrmatin g t Design Guide page 19. v. T d this, give the settings a name and click OK. Yur technlgy settings are saved per service. b. T use the saved specificatins later, click the radi buttn and select frm the pull-dwn list. Click the hyperlink text Yur default technlgy t review and/r mdify the saved settings. 10. Panelisatin ptins Optins are: a. Eurcircuits panelise frm the single image Gerber data accrding t ur standard rules (see Panel Guidelines dcument page 5). b. Eurcircuits panelise frm the single image Gerber data t yur specificatin (preferably t a panel drawing). The panel must meet ur minimum panelizatin requirements (see Panel Guidelines page 3). This ptin is nt available fr PCB prt. c. Yu prepare a set f fully panelised Gerber files t yur specific requirements. The panel must meet ur minimum panelizatin requirements (Panel Guidelines dcument page 3). Fr mre infrmatin n panelisatin g t Panel Guidelines dcument. Guidance ntes: All ptins. a. Yu can enter different separatin methds, different separatin distances and different brders in X & Y. b. Special prfiling f the panel utline. Page 4 f 6 11. T rder a stencil Tick the Stencil bx. PCB size shws the single circuit size r the panel size. Add a brder n each side in X and Y fr handling. The system will shw the finished stencil size. Tick Tp r Bttm as required and then Add t calculatin/rder. 12. Add administrative references Different cmpanies require different references fr PCBs. We prvide 4 ptins: a. PCB name. This is attached permanently t the data supplied. b. Yur purchase reference. Shws PO number fr an rder r RFQ number fr an inquiry. c. Yur prject reference. Use this t grup different rders fr faster searching. A prject culd be a prduct, grup f prducts, a department, whatever is a cnvenient gruping. d. Yur article reference. This is typically the cde used in an ERP r purchasing system. The PCB name is mandatry and will appear autmatically n all dcumentatin. Fr the thers, click Select the administrative reference(s) yu wish t use. Fr each yu can set Shw, Hide and Required. T place an rder 13. As sn as yu have calculated a price. Cnfirm yur data frmat, attach yur zipped data via the Brwse buttn, check the Delivery address, add purchase and ther references as required and click Place an rder. 14. Where yu have saved an ffer a. G t Offer Tracking and click the ffer yu want t rder. b. Yu can change Purchase reference (e.g. t PO number), Prject Reference and Article Reference, as well as the delivery address. 15. T add a new delivery address G Manage Prfile tab, then Manage cmpany accunt. Click the edit icn under Search and then Add new address n the new screen. 16. Click View running rders t check the rder is there. 17. If it is nt listed, then the rder has nt been placed. Try again r cntact ur sales ffice (eur@eurcircuits.cm). T place a repeat rder. 18. Lg in and g t Order repeats/view histry 19. Click the rder yu want t repeat then Order a repeat and the summary data will appear. 20. Yu can change: Purchase reference (typically t enter the new rder number) Quantity required Delivery term required Delivery address 21. The system will display the new price and the planned delivery date. 22. If yu need a stencil withut re-rdering the bards, click Repeat Stencil Only. 23. Check the rder has been placed as 16 abve. Allws yu t get an uncnfirmed On demand price withut uplading data. c. Best fit. We analyse the data and qute fr the best fit service. 3. Uplad data. If yur data includes all necessary manufacturing infrmatin yu nly need t enter the PCB name and number f layers, plus quantity and delivery required. Otherwise enter the additinal infrmatin needed using the technlgy ptins as 5 belw. 4. Chse single bard, panel, r stencil. Optins are: a. Single bard b. Panel. Fr ptins see 10 abve c. Order a stencil, see 11 abve. Dimensins are nly needed fr On demand withut data. 5. Select yur technlgy ptins. It is nly necessary t enter data which is nt included in yur data files. Material tab Nn-standard build-ups, extra PTH and press runs will nrmally be entered by ur engineers. b. Technlgy tab i. The values in the Track width t N f hles bxes affect the price. Hwever if yu supply data, leave them at default; ur engineers will enter the crrect values. ii. We recmmend that yu tick the ther bxes as required t cnfirm yu requirements. E.g. that cpper is required t the bard-edge r special drill tlerances are intentinal. iii. Milling. Use this bx t specify slts r internal cut-uts. Enter quantity, delivery and administrative references. Fr administrative references, see 12 abve 8. Prgress yur enquiry. G t Inquiry Tracking and check in the Status 9. Cmpleted Offer When the ffer has been cmpleted yu will receive an email t advise yu and the ffer will appear under Offer Tracking. Place rder and repeat rder As p.4 abve. 3. WHAT HAPPENS NEXT? 1. As sn as yu have placed yur rder, we will send yur data t ur frnt-end engineering department fr a manufacturability check. During this time the rder will have the status Analysis. 2. If everything is OK, we will send yu an rder cnfirmatin email. The jb will nw have the status NEW. 3. During stages 1 and 2, yur rder can still be mdified r cancelled. 4. After 2 hurs, the rder is given the status PREP. It is nw back in the frnt-end engineering department t be laded nt a prductin panel and put int prductin. It can n lnger be changed r cancelled with exceptin f the delivery address that can be changed by the site administratr as lng as the rder has nt reached the lgistic department. Cntact eur@eurcircuits.cm fr guidance. 5. Yu can check the status f yur rder in the Status clumn. Click Status details t see what each name means. 6. If there are any prblems r if the data is ambiguus in any way we will raise an exceptin and send yu an email t advise yu. Where pssible we will make a prpsal t slve the prblem. Fr PCB prt, t simplify administratin and keep prices dwn, we wn t raise an exceptin but send yu a mail describing the prblem and cancel the rder. Please crrect the data and place a new rder. 7. If yu have received a discunt cde (used fr ne time marketing actins) yu can link it t yur rder during rdering r link it t any f yur rders that are in the running rders list and that have nt reached the status inviced yet.
