Sending ad materials In all cases, ASHRAE needs t set up yur space reservatin fr yur ad. Once cmpleted yu will be able t submit yur ad t ASHRAE publicatins. Yu will use the left and tp navigatin t find yur space reservatin t submit yur ad Chse and pen by duble clicking the blue icn f the ad space
3 Review requirement and adding materials Yu will need t cnfirm that the ad materials infrmatin is crrect. All infrmatin is pre-ppulated frm the insertin rder. It is imprtant that yu cnfirm that these instructins are crrect being mving n as yu nly have ne pprtunity t revise instructins befre adding materials. Item that may need attentin are: Prf Type Categry Available Tags defining psitin. Ad instructins Chse add materials t start the prcess f adding yur material fr preflighting yur ad. 4 Ad file preflight Yur PDF ad file preflights in real time and will infrm yu f serius errrs that must be fixed befre yur ad is accepted. Left hand panel shws details abut yur ad. If yu d nt see the left hand panel yu can click n the Mre Infrmatin buttn. The middle panel shws hw yur ad will be psitined and printed. The right hand panel shws: Serius and suggested ther warnings abut yur ad Tls that can reslve sme cmmn preflight prblems.
Explanatin f Warnings and Tls Yu Can Use Warnings Mst warnings prvide additinal infrmatin t define cmmn prblems and suggested slutins. All warnings will shw the area f the ad where the prblem resides. Serius Warnings are defined by a red X and must be crrected befre submitting t the publisher. Other Warnings are defined by an range cautin triangle. These are recmmended crrectins t prvide better results fr yur printed ad. Tls Abve the warnings, the prtal will prvide yu with different curses f suggested actin r pssible tls t help yu crrectin the ad. In sme cases, the ad may have t be revised in the native prgram and resubmitted t the prtal. Apprve Buttn: Apprve the ad t run in the selected publicatin. ASHRAE will prefrm a final preflight n yur ad. Yu will be ntified if yur ad has additinal warnings that need t be reslved. Reject Buttn: Reject the ad currently upladed. Repsitin Buttn: Alter the psitin f the ad n the screen Aut Center Buttn: Allw the ad prtal t center the ad within publicatin ad specificatins.
