Role Context The post is part of the South East Asia Regional office team within INTO s Global Recruitment Unit and is responsible for Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei. Reporting Line The post holder reports to the Regional Manager (South East Asia) based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Salary Salary dependent upon skills, qualifications and experience.
Location The post will be based in Kuala Lumpur which forms part of the South East Asia Region allowing for convenient for travel throughout the indicated region mentioned, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei and to a lesser extent, Indonesia. Travel to the UK and USA is necessary and flexibility is required to meet the demands of the post, including occasional weekend working. The post holder may be reasonably required to work from any INTO or Partner location at any time. Job purpose Working with the South East Asia Regional Manager to develop a growth and development strategy in South East Asia and deliver budgeted enrolment numbers. Principle responsibilities and duties A strong, creative and proactive candidate with excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication and motivational skills A commitment to the ongoing improvement of personal sales skills with the support of a structured training programme Achieve student targets set during annual Enrolment Budget process for various proposition within INTO including pathway, university transfer programme and direct entry Identify direct entry and transfer recruitment opportunities within South East Asia to increase enrolment. This refers to identifying local higher education institutions which present opportunities for direct entry/transfer recruitment Act as the first point of contact for selected agencies, schools, universities and organisations within South East Asia Attendance and active involvement in team meetings Demonstrate excellent presentation and business writing skills. Assistant Regional Manager (SEA) to maximise sales and product development opportunities within South East Asia Must be able to effectively assist in the management of recruitment projects within the region Assist in the identification, maintenance and development of relationships with key sponsorship bodies including embassies, government agencies and private sector sponsors Identify various recruitment channels to promote INTO US proposition Actively involved in digital marketing activities and campaign for the
purposes of branding and recruitment Promote INTO centres at feeder institutions, exhibitions, seminars and events Assist in the arrangement of familiarization trips to our UK/US campuses for agents Analyse, recommend and present marketing or advertising opportunities Where appropriate, provide direct programme counselling to prospective students Closely liaise with Central Admissions (UK) and Admissions Processing Centre (USA) to encourage an efficient, customer-centric approach to the student application process Maintain an effective and courteous working relationship with the International Offices of our partner universities Maintain an effective and courteous working relationship with INTO Centres in the UK/USA and China Ensure agents, schools and sponsoring bodies always receive appropriate levels of customer service Present a professional and positive image of INTO at all times Confidence to suggest and make improvements to customer service at all levels within the organisation Responding to student enquiries and assisting students with applications via telephone, email, and where relevant via social media Advising applicants on their eligibility for their chosen INTO programme plus suggesting alternatives when they would not be accepted in order to make students aware of their options Following up with offer-holders via INTO agent representatives to maximise student confirmations and ultimately enrolments Your job title does not define or limit your duties and you may be required to carry out other work within your abilities from time to time at our request We reserve the right to introduce changes in line with technological developments which may impact upon your job duties or methods of working.
