Sustainable Agriculture through Innovative Biotechnology

What is biofertilizer? Preparation containing live or latent cells efficient strains of microorganisms used for application to seeds, soil or composting areas with the objective of increasing the number of such microorganisms and accelerate those microbial process which augment the availability of nutrients that can be easily assimilated by plants.

Soil health by Dr. Gurmit Fertilizer in modern agriculture -Chemical fertilizer raw material, to ensure food security, and increase farmers income -Adverse effect of long term using -Protection and enhancement of bacteria, actinomycete, fungi, earthworms, small insects and creatures -Balance the use of chemical and bio fertilizer -Soil replenishment by using beneficial bacteria -Macro nutrients, beneficial bacteria, trace elements & organic elements are the four indispensable ways

Soil health by Dr. Gurmit Virgin forest stage Effectively utilize the resources provided by nature A close system that is clean and healthy. Plantation clearing stage Upset biodiversity, disrupted nature s cycle and balance Chemical fertilizer are used extensively to enhance plant s growth and productivity Prolonged use can affect soil physical, chemical and biological properties and contribute pollution.

Soil health by Dr. Gurmit Plantation clearing stage Acidify the soil and cause changes to cationic and anionic as well as the microbial population and diversity. Soil become less fertile and lose their resistance to pest and disease.

Soil health by Dr. Gurmit Sustainable soil health stage Balance the use of chemical fertilizer with bio fertilizer. Contains beneficial microorganisms, aloe vera, seaweed extract and trace elements. Help fix atmospheric nitrogen, decompose organic matter and solubilize nutrients Improves organic matter and carbon content of the soil.

Soil health by Dr. Gurmit IBG Bio Fertilizer -Contains beneficial microbes to improve crop nutrients and to promote crop growth. -Contains: Microorganisms, organic matter and macro and trace elements, seaweed extract, aloe vera extract, humic acid, and amino acids. -Increase soil organic matter, resist the invasion of crop pests, bacteria and viruses, promote root development and absorption, enhance absorption of chemical fertilizers, help replenish plants to achieve a balance

Ganoderma infection in oil palm Ganoderma exists in the field as mycelium colonising palm tissues in the soil and in the old oil palm primary root. This mycelium is not able to cause infection at early stages due to the presence of antagonistic soil microbes and roots ability to suppress its development. Prolonged use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides weakens the root system, and progressively reduces the population of beneficial microbes.

Why root protection is important Soil health is important to maintain a healthy population of beneficial microbes that, besides improving root development and proliferation, also protects the palm from soil pathogen. In this respect, bio fertilizers which contain beneficial microbes have an important role to play. To be effective, they should be applied to the soil at early stages of palm development so that they can offer greatest protection to root system from infection. Herein, the integration of chemical and bio fertilizer is the best approach to maximise oil palm productivity.

Soil health by Dr. Gurmit IBG Bio Fertilizer -With the application of IBG bio fertilizer, chemical fertilizer application rate can be reduced to 30%. -Directly provide comprehensive nutrition -Released confined chemical fertilizer active ingredient -Can reduce costs, and increase plants production

Soil health by Dr. Gurmit Bacillus spp. function in IBG Bio Fertilizer Helps to decompose organic and inorganic matters into nutrients. Increase organic matters and humus in the soil. Improve soil structure, soil aeration and drought resistance. Increase air/oxygen content for soil aerobic processes. Enhance root growth. Boost availability of all macro and micronutrients in the soil. Produce enzymes and phyto-hormones which are essential for trees. Produce antibiotics which increase plant resistance to diseases.

Why choose IBG bio fertilizer? Increase plant productivity Provide an economically viable support Soil health maintenance Effective in helping plant to absorb nutrients Reduces the dosage of chemical fertilizers Reduces soil-borne root diseases of plants.

Numerous research shows that the use of bio fertilizer does assist in plant growth and overall sustainable soil conservation

IBG Technologies Through technologies, we provide: Innovative solution through biotechnology Comprehensive model from the combination of microbes, organic, chemical and trace elements Various benefits

Distinctive advantages 1. Improve soil organic matter utilization, thus reduce soil erosion 2. Improve transportation of nutrients by roots natural secretion of growth factor elements by microbes 3. Minimize losses caused by run-off through the Phosphorus and Potassium Releasing Bacteria 4. Enhances plant growth 5. Increase inflorescence rate and the female ratio 6. Increase fruit weight and quality 7. Provide non-acidic nitrogenous fertilizer
