6 Create new Business Map To create a new Business Map, right mouse click on your Project Folder. Select New > (type of map) SAP AG 2005, Quick Guide, Business Maps & Engagement Tools, Page 6
7 Create a new Map from an existing Reference Business Map Under SAP Business Maps, select the Business Maps you would like to use as template by selecting the check box. The Business Map appears in your Project Folder Scenario-oriented Industry Solution Maps can be found in the folder New Industry Solution Maps SAP AG 2005, Quick Guide, Business Maps & Engagement Tools, Page 7

9 Modify Map using One Click Editing Changes can be made using the graphic or in the tree structure: Right mouse click and select the appropriate menu option. Quick and easy authoring using "One Click Editing": This feature guides you through the authoring process by offering the elements which you are able to create or change directly on the graphic. 10 Rename Elements of a Map To rename elements in your Map, right mouse click on the element in the graphic or in the tree structure. Select Rename SAP AG 2005, Quick Guide, Business Maps & Engagement Tools, Page 10
11 Copy Parts from Other Maps Copy elements (single processes or whole sections) from other Maps by selecting the element you want to copy and Drag&Drop it into your Map. Note: Always copy elements to the appropriate level SAP AG 2005, Quick Guide, Business Maps & Engagement Tools, Page 11

13 Add New Elements to the Map To create new elements in your Map, select the element where the new element is to be created. Right mouse click, select New and choose the element you want to add. Or add directly in the graphic. SAP AG 2005, Quick Guide, Business Maps & Engagement Tools, Page 13

23 Assign Scenario Group to Value Chain Elements Select Scenario Group and select Details button. Select or deselect link (assignment) to value chain elements. Or Drag&Drop Scenario Group element to value chain element in the graphic. Also Drag&Drop to subsequent value chain elements if appropriate. 25 Automatically Create a Business Scenario Map from a Scenario Click on Business Scenario in the blue window: The new Business Scenario Map will automatically be generated including the processes and texts of this scenario. 28 Assign Roles and Documents to Business Scenario Maps Open the pool and select an employee role/document. Use Drag&Drop to add role to activity and document to connection between two activities.
