1 Accurate Mapping Probe TM The CUES Accurate Mapping Probe is the most accurate gyroscopic tool for mapping the XYZ positions of underground utilities produced today. The AMP TM can be provided via the service; purchase; and rental scenarios. Through the use of web-based AMPVUE PRO TM, clients can perform mapping projects anywhere in the world and have their data processed and delivered within the same day. Technology Housing and Interchangeable Centralizers A unique system of ex-changeable centralizing wheel units gives the CUES AMP TM an operational range of 3.5 (ID90mm) to 58 (ID1473mm). Whether the pipeline is made of steel, concrete, HDPE or PVC, this mapping system will improve any HDD implementation procedure. The AMP TM tool with centralization, may be pulled either by a hand operated wireline or a mechanical winch. In certain cases, the tool may be pumped through the product line. 2 Accurate Mapping Probe TM (cont.) The CUES AMP locates defects such as pipe sags, misaligned joints, and any deviation from horizontal and vertical design. Since the AMP is not subject to soil type, adjacent utilities, and equipment depth limitations, it is ideal for use in areas that are not available to conventional survey. 1 Data Collection 2 Data Processing 3 Data Transfer CUES AMP TM operation is enabled after insertion into the end of the product line. Once physical location measurements are made, the AMP TM is pulled through the line at a predetermined rate, usually 1 to 5 ft/sec. After the AMP TM arrives at the other end of the pipeline, it is pulled back obtaining a second set of data. CUES AMP TM Specifications The captured data is immediately checked on-site to ensure data collection and quality control have been met. The data can be uploaded to the office via AMPVUE TM and/or AMPVUE PRO TM. AMP TM 3D positional measurement data can be provided to clients within 24 hours of completion of measurements.
