It exploits the capabilities of the NGIN and IP networks by introducing fixed / mobile / IP convergence through mobile, fixed and IP extensions. The VPN / WO applications consolidate many conventional PABX functionalities into a mobile or a mobile IP PBX environment. 5 2 Real-Time Charging NGINius-Charging Constituting an innovative approach to the traditional online charging for voice / data / content services, NGINius-Charging treats prepaid and postpaid users in a unified manner and provides a complete solution to fulfil the increasing telco market demands for charging convergence. NGINius-Charging introduces an account-centric model, which is not restricted to the business systems layer. Operators can deploy various services and at the same time manage the corresponding user profiles. For instance, wireline and GSM network services can be offered without making changes to the business layer (e.g. the billing and customer care). The NGINius-Charging solution enables charging convergence at all layers: Network (fixed / mobile / IP) Service (voice / data / event) Charging (time / volume / content) Pre to post paid convergence NGINius-Charging has been designed to offer charging transparency and simplicity, enabling CSPs to: Transform their business models in order to handle the current trends Introduce new charging models and promote further usage Deploy, modify and withdraw offerings fast, in order to keep up with competition The number of mobile subscribers that can be potentially exposed to bill shock experience is continuously increasing. NGINius-Charging offers roaming subscribers the capability to control their spending through the introduction of a credit limitation mechanism while roaming. Session and credit control in real-time is enabled, allowing the end user to receive notifications and warnings regarding his/her usage while roaming abroad.

6 3 Intelligent Routing Flexible Call Routing (FCR) Suite The FCR suite of applications addresses the multi-network environment needs. It includes all-time classic IN services, which are based on the use of a single number, and which are independent of the user s geographical location: Free Phone (FPH) This service enables the provision of charge-free access to specific numbers. Through reverse charging, the company / organization (service subscriber) may accept the full cost of the call. By using routing functions, the served company is able to accept the incoming calls at a different location. Premium Rate (PRM) This service allows the transfer of information (e.g. weather forecasts, stock market info, horoscopes, etc.) over a telephone line and at a higher charging rate, compared to the rate of an ordinary call. Universal Access Number (UAN) This service allows the company / organization to provide their customers a unique, virtual access number, which is geographical location-independent. Intelligent Televoting (invot) This application facilitates the holding of competitions and voting events usually organized by TV / radio stations or market research organizations. Such companies can take advantage of the service s flexibility to customize the voting process according to the requirements of the specific event. An advanced mass call handling mechanism is offered for large-scale events. Voters are able to participate in the events, either by initiating calls, through mobile / fixed / VoIP, or by sending an SMS / MMS. 7 Sponsored Call (SC) The SC application offers an alternative promotion option for companies wishing to be advertised. The promoted company undertakes a part of the call cost in case the user (caller) accepts to listen to an advertisement before a call is established. Different advertising announcements or voice prompts can be provided, depending on the location of the user, demographics, B-number, etc. This service is applicable for mobile, fixed and IP networks. Virtual Rooms (V-rooms) Virtual Rooms realizes a virtual meeting space, where groups of users are enabled to be connected over the phone anytime, and it is an on-demand reservation of the telephone service. Users are able to connect to one or more virtual rooms, using different virtual numbers, and can activate / deactivate the service on demand. Number Portability (inp) Number portability is a legal liability for telecom regulators in most markets worldwide. Users are enabled to hold their telephone numbers in the event of switching to a different service provider. The application implements the necessary logic and interfaces, as defined in the inp and MNP standards, while it can simultaneously serve both GSM and fixed networks. NG Quality & Cost-based Routing (NG-QCR) Operators are able to implement policy-based routing techniques such as Least-Cost Routing or Qualitybased Routing. Based on NGIN technology, the NG- QCR application handles the operator routing policies regardless of the existing switching platforms. It is switch vendor-agnostic and handles all routing changes centrally. Session & Event Access Control (ACES) This application enables an advanced control mechanism of barring / unbarring conditions for accessing different services (e.g. special or high-rated information). Service logic is based on the usage of subscriber-controlled screening methods inclusive of black / white / exception lists. 4 Location & Roaming Home / Office Zone (HZ) Mobile users prepaid or postpaid are enticed to enjoy special voice / SMS / data and/or charging features at their home or office location. When located elsewhere, users are charged as usual. This location-based application can provide fixed to mobile substitution features in the home / office area. VPN users can also benefit from this service. multi-sim (m-sim) Mobile subscribers are enabled to use multiple SIM cards while keeping the same MSISDN. One SIM card needs to be registered as master. Any additional SIM card will be registered as slave. Subscribers can configure the service behaviour (i.e. how to receive voice calls / SMS / MMS / data) depending on the SIM card they are using. Key Features: Home / Office Zone Notification Home Zone Air-time Multiple Zones Home / Office Zone Home Zone Administration (IVR / SMS / USSD / Web) Virtual Home Environment (VHE) This application provides facilities to inbound roamers, enabling operators to attract and retain high-end customers for increasing international roaming traffic and generating roaming revenues. Mobile roamers prepaid or postpaid are enabled to access the short codes of their home network without having to dial long and difficult-toremember prefixes.

8 5 Messaging & Signaling Notify Me With the Notify Me service, subscribers are allowed to reach their desired party without endless redials. This service notifies the calling party that the called subscriber is available and can answer the call. Advanced Messaging Services (AMS) Subscribers can register to the following messaging services by sending text commands through SMS: SMS / MMS Forward SMS / MMS Schedule SMS Auto Reply SMS Signature Welcome SMS / MMS Operators are able to quickly and cost-effectively communicate tariff-related and short-code dialling information, active promotions and bonuses, new product offerings, or any other type of information, to inbound roamers. Furthermore, the home operator is enabled to send information to outbound roamers regarding the country, the network they are roaming in, or any other type of information that would be beneficial to travellers.

9 Services Orchestration in Real-Time Services Orchestration has been introduced by the IMS and refers to the interaction among several independent services in a single call or session, which allow breaking a service into several reusable smaller building blocks. Orchestration delivers complementary features to the functionality offered by the standard services. It enables their combination with multimedia and Web services to deliver advanced user experience. A typical Orchestration scenario is a Prepaid subscriber who is also subscribed to VPN service. The HP OpenCall platform is offered with a powerful real-time services orchestration module enabling NGIN and IMS services composition. The composition ability allows invoking NGIN services, SIP AS and legacy IN services, but also other services framework (such as AS implementing ParlayX functions as third-party call control, call notifications) and online charging systems. Intracom Telecom has extensive experience in developing orchestration scenarios, gathered through the implementation of complex projects requiring legacy IN and NGIN applications composition. Orchestration is offered as part of an NGIN project or as a stand-alone module. NGINius-Apps Enter the Cloud Today, cloud business models are widely accepted and have started penetrating fast into the Telco market. The NGINius suite is ready to support the Communication as a Service (CaaS) business models. It enables CSPs to offer, with a limited upfront investment, a set of NGINius applications to Small and Medium-sized Enterprise customers (SMEs), through a services-on-demand model. The offered applications support the charging models relevant to the CaaS business model, such as Pay-Per- Subscription and Pay-Per-Use. The CaaS-adapted NGINius applications can be exposed to SMEs through a marketplace portal as part of the cloud applications portfolio. CaaS models: Provide a solution for the rapid introduction of on-demand services. Reduce the business service delivery from months to days. Increase CSP s revenue and market share by: Enabling the addition of capacity on demand. Minimizing the maintenance and support costs. 10 Strategic Partnership Since 2001, when the strategic partnership with HP was established, Intracom Telecom has been multiply awarded as HP Partner of the Year for its excellence in partnership commitment, sales, support, and development of novel solutions on top of HP OpenCall. The HP OpenCall Suite of Platforms OCCP OCCP is a federating platform which provides access to and facilitates the control of network elements and service enablers, which can also be used as a Service controller for PSTN, 2G or 3G networks or as Application Server (AS) in IMS. The OCCP offers a Java Based Service execution environment capable to host the service logic. It is integrated with a J2EE Application server, and extends it with a real time container, capable to host the high demanding telecom applications. The OCCP can: Provide smooth integration of solutions with different network technologies (legacy networks, 2G and 3G mobile networks, converged networks, IMS). Host solutions logic and/or service enablers in a highly-available Java environment. Expose these service enablers or solutions to Web / Web2.0 applications, using standard Java-based technologies (EJB and/or Web Services). Facilitate service orchestration and make new business capabilities available to the operators by blending services as opposed to simply bundling them. A powerful real-time Session Service Orchestration module is in charge of retrieving the appropriate logic for the service through an HTTP get request and composing services from various application blocks. OCMP The OpenCall Media Platform (OCMP) is a scalable, carrier-grade IP multimedia server and Media Resource Function (MRF) enabling rapid development and deployment of audio and video services for IVR, multimedia portals, multimedia messaging, conferencing and other advanced multimedia applications. OCMP provides support for a wide range of network deployment models, thus enabling IVR consolidation.
