1 Cityworks Server PLL Administration (2 Days) Sunday and Monday, May 18 19, :30 AM - 4:30 PM This course focuses on the setup and administration of Cityworks Server PLL (Permits, Licensing, and Land). It covers the configuration of permits and cases, including user management, permit/case template configuration, workflow setup, fee configuration, custom case data setup, and basic reporting using Crystal Reports. Attendees will also be instructed on the integration points between Server PLL and, as well as how Server PLL utilizes the GIS. Throughout the course, Azteca Systems training staff will share example workflows and data from existing clientele, as well as best business practices in Cityworks Server PLL configuration and deployment. Attendees will work with the entire set up process of Cityworks Server AMS as well as the interface. By the end of this training attendees will have a fully functional website and understand how to administer it. SQL Server database configuration (database creation, roles, users, logins, and permissions) ODBC set up Server AMS installation and creation of the website Securities and permissions Server AMS set up in Cityworks Designer Server AMS environment configuration (creating the inbox, defining roles, adding users, building tabs and toolbars, etc.) Server AMS interface (inbox, service requests, work orders, inspections, saved searches, event layers, GIS search, etc.) New and existing Server AMS administrators and managers who want to understand the complete configuration, workflow, and interface. 3 Migrating From Cityworks Desktop to (2 Days) Sunday and Monday, May 18 19, :30 AM 4:30 PM This training course covers the required configuration workflow when migrating from a Cityworks Desktop environment to. Attendees will learn all tasks required to migrate an existing Desktop SQL Server database to a Server AMS-enabled database with the finished result being a fully functioning Server AMS website. Another main focus of this training will encompass the Server AMS interface. Training attendees will learn how to create service requests, work orders, and inspections. They will also be exposed to working with saved searches, event layers, the inbox, and other core functionality within Server AMS. Training topics included in the first segment: Configuring GIS Services in Cityworks Designer to define which map services are consumed by Server AMS Creating custom inspection templates to take advantage of the condition score functionality of Server AMS Working with Login Manger to give access rights to Server AMS Building the Server AMS website architecture by enabling tabs on the toolbar and defining access to users Designing the Inbox for both specific users and the domain Training topics included in the second segment: Creating service requests, adding callers, locating the problem location, and confirming the exact issue related to the service request Creating work orders and tracking equipment, materials, and labor, as well as adding maintenance scores Building custom inspections and associating condition scores Defining saved searches to populate the inbox and event layers Working with heat map, condition score, maintenance score, and Asset Analytics tools. In addition, training attendees will be exposed to several ways to increase functionality, enforce data integrity, and customize workflows by modifying the appropriate XML files, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and embedding Java script. Best practices and key information about customizing Server AMS will also be presented as attendees work hands-on with XML. 6 Introduction to Cityworks Analytics and SAP Crystal Reports (1 Day) Sunday, May 18, :30 AM - 4:30 PM Attendees will become familiar with Cityworks Analytics, which is used to display historical asset maintenance information (service requests, work orders, and inspections) in a detailed, graphic, and tabular format based upon user-defined parameters. Attendees will learn how to define performance thresholds known as Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to analyze performance, observe trends, explore outliers, and derive averages. Additionally, attendees will be exposed to another method of displaying historical asset maintenance data by producing concise summary reports within Crystal Reports software. Attendees will become familiar with the Cityworks table structure, table relationships, and basic Crystal Reports functionality. 7 Cityworks in the Field: Comparing Mobile Options (1 Day) Monday May 19, :30 AM 4:30 PM Attendees will learn efficient workflows for preparing data in the office to be used in the field using the Cityworks field/mobile versions of the software. Training attendees will be exposed to all of the mobile/field options Cityworks has to offer, including: Field Mode, the Mobile Web App, and the ios and Android mobile apps. A detailed comparison of each Cityworks mobile/field software product will be presented. Attendees will learn how to create relevant saved searches to add to the inbox. Attendees will also examine the cause and effect of editing work orders and inspections in the field and the impact that has on how data is displayed in the office and vice-versa. This course also covers the requirements for each mobile/field version of Cityworks to work efficiently, such as network connectivity, what kind of map is running on what product, best practices for recommended versions of web browsers, ArcGIS Online interaction, etc. Attendees will work through very detailed, hands-on scenarios on different devices in the field to see how data on different mobile/field devices and smartphones are impacted when defining data in the office.
