13 Trademark Licensing Howard University's Trademark Licensing Program works to promote, enhance and elevate the image of Howard University by authorizing the use of the University's name and logos on high quality and tasteful merchandise. Managed by: Office of Auxiliary Enterprises & Collegiate Licensing Company Key Points: OUC determines what the trademarks are. Auxiliary enforces use in the commercial market Howard University requires prior approval before using any Howard trademarks HU Departments and Student Organizations must purchase from a licensed vendor List of Vendors available at auxiliary.howard.edu Do not place an order or promise to pay a vendor before you have received approval for your art work Submit your request at least 10 days in advance If you are unsure, ask before you proceed Do not alter or change any of the university s trademarks in any way.

17 Short Term Vending All Vendors must be approved by the Office of Auxiliary Enterprises prior to conducting business on Howard University s campus Food Trucks Student Entrepreneurs Vendors as part of your campus event Student Organizations/Student Entrepreneurs must receive approval from our office before selling anything on campus.
