3 History with Pega In 2014 Türkiye Finans started its three year technical transformation program GOALS Prepare IT infrastructure for digital and agile development Bring process and rule management abilities to the bank infrastructure Digitalize business processes WHY PEGA? Easy to learn Easy to implement Complementary to agile development 3

4 First Steps TRAIN FORMALIZE SETUP EXECUTE Early developers and analysts were trained on Pega Post Training COE was created with 3 initial team members Q Pega was installed, infrastructure was established, and common module integrations were finalized in bank systems Q2 Started projects with Pega consultants, COE team, and other IT developers 4

5 COE Impact Initially, the bank relied heavily on Pega Consulting At the beginning of 2016, COE team reached 8 people Other than COE team, there were about 15 developers working on BPM projects In 2017 the COE team has replaced all Pega consultants Consulting Spend 50% 0%

6 Today and Beyond We have an increasing number of Pega projects Leading projects are: Operations Centralization Collections Imports Module Currently executing 5 projects with 30 people on the Pega Platform in parallel using Scrum As of today, savings are estimated $1.5M By end of 2017, savings are estimated at $2M (50 FTE) 6
