Management of SAP Change and Release Processes from a Single Point of Control The Change Process Management module centralizes the management, synchronization, and coordination of all change and release processes. Its built-in release calendar provides an instant overview of the status of all activities. System Requirements Installation: The Change Process Management module is a separate Web application that needs a Java application server runtime environment to run. The runtime environment can be created with open source solutions like Apache Tomcat and existing enterprise Java application servers. In addition to existing WebService interfaces with the Transport Management module, it also comes with interfaces for integration with external applications. It is installed by importing a Java Web Archive or SAP transport requests into the systems involved. All SAP components exist in their own namespace. SAP release: SAP Basis release 7.0 or later. Java version: Java SE Runtime Environment 7 Security concept: Utilization of a proprietary role-based authorization concept that also supports dynamic authorizations.
