2 About Us.. We are a not for profit organisation delivering efficiency savings to the South East public sector including social housing providers, local authorities, education and health related organisations. Established in 2005 to achieve procurement savings for social housing providers we have since expanded our services and membership and are much more than a procurement consortium. Our members now collectively manage over 140,000 properties. Our Procurement Offer.. You can use our frameworks in two ways; mini-tender or direct call-off. If you need help developing your documents or managing the calloff process then we re ready to help. We can help you with template documents, cost models and a suite of KPIs which you can access. We can also help you with compiling the contract once you have appointed a contractor, plus assistance with contract management going forward. All of our contracts and tenders are managed through Delta esourcing. Member Offer By becoming a Member of SEC, as well as unlimited procurement support, you also receive a host of additional benefits including, networking events, discounted training, free access to our Seminars & events and the opportunity to share best practice with our 22 other Member organisations. 3 In addition to the South East Consortium s core procurement function we offer a range of additional services including knowledge sharing, networking events, sustainability and training. By using SEC s collective buying power and partnership with some of the best VFM training providers we re able source the best deals able to offer our members. We promise high quality training at a reasonable price saving around 40% on average on each course. We work with our training providers in partnership to provide tailored courses suited to your organisations individual needs. This brochure gives an overview of all the courses we have on offer, but always have the capacity to facilitate more so if you have any requirements that aren t listed, please get in touch. We offer a flexible approach to our training, and operate under a request service, so if you have a training need be sure to le us know. Open or closed training? You have the option of keeping the training just for your organisation or opening it up to other members. For certain training a greater number means reduced cost. If you wish to open the training up for other members we will scope for interest and arrange a venue for the training. If there is a large amount of interest we will explore the possibility of turning the training into a free workshop.
