2 mps SELECT Program mps SELECT: A comprehensive, end-to-end program, with all of the elements necessary to successfully manage a best-inclass Managed Output Services program. 3 Software Our best-in-class, patent-pending software platform is the backbone for managing a Managed Print Services program. Key features include: Service Visibility: network and local, 24/7 Training Path 1 Software Proactive monitoring on your behalf: Supplies replenishment Service errors Monthly and quarterly reporting: device usage (utilization, mono vs. color, trends, etc.) service activity (errors, repairs, etc.) Supplies Support Financing
4 Software Security Data Collection Service Protocols: The DCS collects device data using SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol), ICMP (Internet Control Message Protocol), and optionally PJL (Printer Job Language). The DCS gathers printer metric data with SNMP and ICMP at regular intervals from printer/multi-function peripheral devices on the customer s network. Transmission Options: There are 3 methods by which you can transmit the data collected from the DCS: FTP, Port 21 File Transfer Protocol. The standard protocol used to transfer files over the internet between computers. HTTP, Port 80 HyperText Transfer Protocol. A protocol used to transfer information over the World Wide Web. HTTPS, Port 443 Secure HyperText Transfer Protocol. Data is transferred using the HTTP protocol, but instead of using plain text socket communication, the data is 128-bit encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol during transit between the user s computer and the server itself.
5 Software Security One Way Communication Only: The Data Collection Service uses one-way communication only. This means that the collected data can be transmitted from the user s computer to the web server, but the web server cannot transmit information to the user s computer.
6 Supplies Our supplies offering covers the major brands of printers, allowing you to take over and manage most customer fleets. Key features include: National one or two day delivery anywhere in the U.S. Training Service Path 1 Software Auto Toner Replenishment System provides the right cartridge, just when you need it the customer you don t need to check toner levels. Consolidated cartridge shipments, dropshipped directly to each location Supplies Financing Website providing information on supplies shipments as well as expected replenishment dates based on current usage Support
7 Supplies Management Auto Toner Replenishment System Toner levels are monitored remotely by mpsselect Replenishment based on days of toner remaining, based on consumption rates Supply Routing Label is attached to supply with all local/internal delivery and routing information (in all ship to locations of 25 or more devices) No need to order any supply item No mis-orders No overnight orders No rogue buying Lower supplies inventory
8 Proactive Service Monitoring Real-Time Alert Detection Service errors on all devices monitored remotely Customers are proactively notified service tech is on their way when critical errors are discovered Non critical errors (i.e. paper jams) are monitored for frequency and preventive maintenance scheduled prior to increase occurrence rate
9 Help Desk/Dispatch Printer Help Desk Services Staffed by certified technicians, trained in phone triage Objective is to resolve issue online with end user whenever possible Quickly dispatch technician on unresolved issues, armed with knowledge on issue and probable cause(s)
