Comments: + = Good adhesion without priming - = not suitable R = Query or preliminary tests required Rx = Query in the case of heavy water load 1 = For joints in underwater area, e.g. swimming pools, we recommend S 18 and 1218 on mineral substrates such as concrete, mortar, tiles, tile adhesive etc. When using S 16 (mirror adhesive) on mineral and absorbent substrates, use = For natural stone affected by wetness and for certain types of natural stones not subject to water impact, pretreat with 1216 in the underwater zone. Preliminary treatment with For sandstone, pretreatment with = The reaction of S 70. S 110 and S 115 with non-ferrous metals such as copper, brass etc. is feasible. For curing there should be unimpeded air access. 4 = In the case of S 110, transparent pre-treatment with 1217, on foil-coated plastic always pre-treat with = S 100 and S 105 adhere to acrylic sanitary equipment, Röhm Plexiglas GS, ICI Perpex Sanitär and Atohaas Altuglas CS without priming (status 8/96). With other and unknown acrylic sanitary fittings and other sealants, we recommend pre-treatment with 1101 or consultation with our Applications technology department 6 = For sealing on powder coatings we advise making a preliminary test with 1101 or consulting our applications technology dept. Special Note: When jointing with silicone, avoid direct contact with materials containing bitumen and/or emitting softening agents, such as butyl, EPDM, neoprene, insulating and black paint etc. As a rule, if the recommended primers are used, the adhesive properties of the products on the aforementioned substrates are significantly improved. In view of the varying working conditions on building sites, it is advisable to ensure the expediency of the planned working method and the respective amounts of material required, by first carrying out a test.
