2 Page 2 of 11 1 INTRODUCTION This classification report defines the resistance to fire classification assigned to element, Isocab Industrial Agroalimentaire and KS1180AB panels, in accordance with the procedures given in BS EN : A1: DETAILS OF CLASSIFIED PRODUCT 2.1 General The element, Isocab Industrial Agroalimentaire and KS1180AB, is a non-loadbearing wall metal sandwich panel construction which had been tested in accordance with BS EN 164-1: Description The element, Isocab Industrial Agroalimentaire and KS1180AB, is fully described in the test report(s) in support of classification listed in.1. 10 Page 10 of Classification The element, Isocab Industrial Agroalimentaire and KS1180AB, is classified according to the following combinations of performance parameters and classes as appropriate. R E I W t t - M S C IncSlow sn ef r Fire resistance classification: E 60 / EI 60 / EW Field of application This classification is valid for the following end use applications of non-loadbearing walls of the design tested and only the direction tested. The results of the fire test are directly applicable where one or more of the changes listed below (as permitted by clause 1 of BS EN 164-1:1999) are made and the construction continues to comply with the appropriate design code for its stiffness and stability. - Decrease in height of the wall. - Increase in the thickness of the wall. - Increase in the thickness of component materials. - Decrease in linear dimensions of panels, but not thickness. - Decrease in distance of fixing centres. - Vertical joints of the type tested are incorporated. - The width of an identical construction may be increased. - The height may be increased to 4m with the condition that expansion allowances are increased pro-rata. - The wall may be affixed in any rigid supporting construction that has a greater fire resistance than the restraint frame (ie thicker than 295mm and/or denser than 000 kg/m ).
