P-MPA-E Object of registration and field of application 1.1 Object of registration This general building regulation certificate is applicable for the manufacturing and application of the colour lacquer system HYDRO Isolating filler HP / Hesse PRO-COLOR HB (colour tone) on low flammable MDF boards also veneered as low flammable building material (material class DIN 4102-B1) according to DIN The building material does not form burning droplets. 1.2 Field of application The lacquers shall be used for the coating of low flammable MDF boards also veneered. The isolating filler can be applied with a total wet application quantity of maximum 150 g/m² and the colour lacquer with maximum 120 g/m². The fire behaviour against climatic influences outdoors has not been attested. Therefore, the material may be used as flame-retardant product only inside buildings or otherwise in weather-protected areas The proof of heat and sound protection are not part of this General building regulation certificate The applicant declares that no products have been used for the building product which are subject to the Ordinance on Hazardous Substances, the Chemical prohibition ordinance or the CFC halon prohibition regulation resp. that he observes the conditions of the above-mentioned regulations (especially of the labelling requirements). Furthermore the applicant declares that provided that there are measures with regard to hygiene, health- or environment protection for the trade, for placing on the market or the use these measures are arranged by the applicant resp. that they are published as in the required manner. Consequently the inspecting authority did not see any occasion to check the influences of the building product on the health- or environment protection. 2. Requirements of the building project 2.1 Characteristics and composition The colour lacquer system must consist of a single component pigmented primer and a single component colour lacquer in each case based on acrylic resins. The density of the primer must be between 1,36 kg/l 1,4 kg/l and the density of the colour lacquer must be between 1,05 kg/l and 1,14 kg/l. The colour lacquer can be produced in various colours.

P-MPA-E The composition must correspond to the specifications deposited with the MPA NRW. 2.2 Applicable test procedures The lacquer must fulfill the demands to low flammable building materials (material class DIN 4102-B1) according to DIN on low flammable MDF boards also veneered. 2.3 Usage & maintenance The building product must not be exposed to the influence of the weather. 3. Proof of conformity 3.1 General terms The confirmation of the conformity of the building product with the regulations of this General building regulation certificate must be effected for every place of manufacture with a certificate of conformity based on an internal production control and frequent third party control including a first checking of the building product in accordance with the Building Rules List A part 2 no edition 2014/1 and the following regulations. For the performance of the control the current version of the Guidelines for the conformity proof of low flammable building products (material class DIN 4102-B1) as per General Type Approval ¹ is decisive. For the conferral of the conformity certificate and the third party control including product controls which shall be effected thereby, the manufacturer of the building product must instruct an acknowledged authority of certification as well as an authorized supervisory board. The records must be kept on file for at least five years and must be presented to the inspection agency of the highest building authority on demand. 3.2 Internal production control In every place of manufacture, an internal production control according to DIN 18200: , section 3 has to be established in order to guarantee the regular production and composition of the building product according to section 2.1 1) The Directions for the conformity proof of low flammable building materials (building material class DIN 4102-B1) according to General building regulation approval are published in the notifications of the German Institute for Building Technology dated 1 st April 1997.

P-MPA-E Third party control In every place of manufacture, the internal production control must be supervised frequently by a third party, at least once a year. Within the framework of the third party control, a first checking of the building product must be effected. At the running of this third party control, samples for spot checking can be taken. The sampling and tests are the accepted supervisory board s duty. 4. Conformity sign The manufacturer must mark the building products with the conformity sign (Ü-sign) according to the conformity sign regulations of the nations. The conformity sign must be fixed on the building product or on its packaging (as such counts also the package insert) or, if this is not possible, on the delivery note. The marking may only be made, if the requirements according to section 3 are fulfilled. The following details must be shown on the building material, on the packaging or on the packing insert: - Product name - Manufacturer - Conformity sign (Ü-sign) with - Manufacturer s works - Number of the General Building Regulation Certificate - Pictograph or name of certification body - Only flame-retardant (class DIN 4102-B1) on low flammable MDF boards also veneered 5. Legal basis This General building regulation certificate is issued on basis of 22 of building regulations for the land of North Rhine-Westphalia (BauO NRW) with the edition of 1 st March 2000 in connection with the list of building rules A, edition 2014/1. In the building regulations of the other German states, adequate legal bases are included. 6. Explanation of legal remedies Legal action against this General building regulation certificate can be imposed within one month after receipt to the administrative court Gelsenkirchen, Bahnhofsvorplatz 3, Gelsenkirchen in writing or for recording of the authenticating officer of the branch office of this court. The claim must contain the plaintiff, the defendant and the subject of the claim and shall contain a specified request. The facts and evidence on which this claim relies must be mentioned, the contested decision must be added in original or copy. Copies of the decision shall be added in order to pass to the other parties.

P-MPA-E General regulations 7.1 The General building regulation certificate does not replace the legally prescribed approvals, permissions and certificates for realization of building projects. 7.2 The General building regulation certificate is granted notwithstanding the rights of a third party, especially private patents. 7.3 Manufacturers and distributors of the building product must give copies of the General building regulation certificate to the user of the registered object, notwithstanding further regulations. 7.4 The General building regulation certificate may be duplicated in complete form only. A publication in extracts requires the approval of the material testing office North- Rhine-Westphalia. Texts and drawings of advertising media may not contradict with the General building regulation certificate.
