BENEFITS OF A ROCKFON SYSTEM SOLUTION: A single system Chicago Metallic grid has many features and benefits that complement the unique qualities of stone wool tiles and panels. Weight ROCKFON tiles weigh up to 80% less than wet felted mineral fibre and gypsum ceiling tiles, making them easier to transport and carry. Easy cutting ROCKFON tiles can be accurately cut with a single movement, without the need for special equipment and without creating dust. Minimal waste Since ROCKFON tiles weigh less and are easy to cut to size, it also reduces the risk of damage. Flexibility The moisture resistance and non-hygroscopic nature of ROCKFON tiles means they can be installed at any temperature between 0 C and 40 C at up to 100% relative humidity, and no acclimatisation is required. 17 ROCKFON System HAT A Impact A visible ceiling system comprising direct fixed omega profiles Provides high impact resistance Ideal for maximising ceiling height in sports halls Provides excellent sound absorption despite the limited installation depth The ROCKFON System HAT A Impact comprises ROCKFON Samson ceiling tiles for high impact resistance, which meets the requirements of Class 1A in accordance with EN Annex D. ROCKFON Samson tiles have been specifically developed for areas where there is a risk of ceiling impact. In order to resist occasional impacts from balls etc, the direct installation method ROCKFON System Samson incorporating galvanised steel hat profiles should be used. This installation method fulfils the requirements of the German standard DIN part 3 Prüfung der aldwurfsicherheit für Turnen und Spiele. This means, that the ceiling will have high impact resistance and good longevity, while also providing good sound absorption. 18 ROCKFON System Eclipse Be Island Ideal solution when a suspended ceiling for technical or aesthetical reasons is not possible Perfect solution for acoustic corrections Available in different shapes and colours ROCKFON Eclipse is a frameless acoustic island available in square, rectangular and other geometric shapes. The square and rectangular shapes feature a sharplooking edge underlined by a subtle and elegant bevel. All other shapes have a minimalistic straight edge. The visible side is covered with a painted fleece which provides an aesthetically pleasing, smooth matt white surface. The reverse side of the island is covered with a white acoustic fleece. The woven surface ensures excellent impact resistance and durability making it ideal for use in classrooms, sport activity areas, offices, etc. The edges of ROCKFON System VertiQ C Wall are painted. In order to achieve high impact resistance against, for example, ball impact, aluminium perimeter profiles should be fastened to the wall with fixing brackets supporting panels along the bottom, aluminium corners and connection plates.
