3 Spray waterproofing on old damp roof tiles Cold Applied Liquid Waterproofing This innovative waterproofing is approved by all leading insurance companies as the most cost effective alternative to conventional single ply and built-up bituminous membranes. ABP Spray Applied Liquid Waterproofing is based upon the use of epoxy resin / polyurethane preparation coats, combined with polyurethane and moisture tolerant POLYUREA membranes. 4 Waterproofing Membranes These can be sprayed or hand applied and can be used over irregular surfaces to create a seamless membrane with no lap joints. Detailing is very simple with ABP applied liquid waterproofing systems and is 0 times faster than hot or flame applied bitumnous systems. POLYURETHANE SPRAY SYSTEM AB-PUR 0 and AB-PUR 0 WP (FLAME-COAT) are component modified polyurethane spray elastomeric systems that acts as a waterproofing and crack-bridging system that is used to protect against the ingress of water into concrete, timber, cement screed, fibre cement, bitumen and basically all above and below ground structures e.g. roofs, car parks, substructures, tunnels, terraces, balconies, galleries, parking garages, underground parking areas and water retaining structures. It is basically used all above and below ground structures e.g.: parking garages, water retaining structures, steel pipes, tanks, oil separators, bulk silos, docks, truck bodies. HAND APPLIED LIQUID WATERPROOFING AB PUR 0 (FLAME-COAT): This is a component PUR liquid waterproofing which is ready to use straight from the can and has a longer open pot life. It is ideal for waterproofing all roofs when applied wet on wet. This means that the polyester reinforcement fleece is first saturated with the liquid 0 resin bonding the membrane to the substrate, and the second surface layer is then applied onto the reinforced bonding coat whilst wet, so forming a single seamless membrane of uniform thickness. Thin spots are avoided since the fleece must be seen to be fully saturated.
