3 OVERVIEW Company History Technology and Track Record Established in 1992 as a consulting and engineering company. Since June 1999 BEKON has been concentrating on the development of concepts for biogas plants based on source separated biowaste and municipal solid waste (MSW) fines. The Munich Waste Services (AWM) plant is BEKON s first reference project (2003). The technology has undergone further developments and 26 patents have been granted. Since plants were built and successfully put into operation with more than 1,000,000 operating hours to date. Presentation BEKON Energy Technology Waste-to-Energy + Compost 18 March 2016 Slide 3
