ABOUT THE COMPANY 2 INDUSTRY SECTORS CHEMICAL INDUSTRY POLYMER FOOD INDUSTRY waste utilization, water purification, chemical synthesis, crystallization, mixtures separation, drying, ion-exchange and absorption, polymer production, production of polymer products (paint, plastics, rubber) food chemistry, tastes creation (aromatics), mixtures with given properties PETROCHEMICAL INDUSTRY refinery of oil, coal, carbonization, pitch (electrode) coke, product quality improvement, creation of different holding environments GAS INDUSTRY gas cleaning, gas separation, biogas production ECOS UTILIZATION eco problem solutions with utilization of industrial waste and household solid wastes, engineering of water cleaning systems and waste stream utilization at plants and factories, engineering of eco control systems MEDCINE/COSMETOLOGY creation of composite materials for medicine use (plaster, band aid), for dental surgery (dental impressions) and cosmetics (face masks) 4
EXAMPLES OF S ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION UTILIZATION Disposal of medical waste (class В, С) 1. To engineer a technology of safe medical waste disposal for health care institutions (hospitals etc.) 2. To choose the necessary equipment Tapam developed a solution which meets the requirement of the Client Company best of all. The technology is adjustable and can be used in medical centers, dental clinics, etc., for utilization of different groups of medical waste including traumatic and infectious ones. Tapam also found for the Client Company all the necessary equipment to start the production of the invented technology as a product Tapam invented a special container. When medical waste is placed in the container it is filled up with a special foam which hardens some time after. As a result we get a light briquette with the waste walled up in it. The briquette can be taken out of the container and can be transported or utilized by any acceptable way: burning, bury, etc. The foam can contain special composition for the sake of disinfection and faster decomposition. SCOPE The project is in process of implementation together with the government of Republic of Angola. The scope of the usage is the territory of the whole country. The total investment about 10 mln. USD 5
EXAMPLES OF S ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION WASTE RECYCLING ELECTRICAL ENERGY Used tires and plastics recycling 1. To engineer a technology of tires and plastics recycling with the result of getting the better marketable products 2. To choose the necessary equipment, to engineer necessary equipment Tapam engineered a technology which provides the following result: the recycled tires or plastics are turned into gas, which can be also used in a steam generator, which converts the steam into electricity. The technology is easily modified and can be adapted either for small or big production. The technology gives no ecological pollution Tapam engineered a technological cycle. It includes the unique construction of the pyrolysis reactor which provides the absence of by-products during production (such as micro molecules caused by the overheat), increases the productivity of the unit and improves the quality up to clean gas. As a result the fuel obtained with the use to Tapam technology can be used not only in boilers as TDF, but also in a steam generator to obtain electricity PRICE The approximate cost of one equipment unit for 1 ton per hour is 300 thousand USD 1 ton of used tires can be converted into 2000 kwt electricity!!! 6
EXAMPLES OF S MEDCINE COSMETOLOGY A paste composition on alginate bases 1. To make a better technology in comparison to the existing ones 2. To find the necessary equipment, packing and material suppliers Tapam invented a technology which has several advantages in comparison to the existing technologies in the market. The product which may be produced under this technology represents a special past which can be filled to tubes and ready to use as well as for self-treatment. The invention can be used in different areas: dental impressions preparation, cosmetic masks and creams and as a vehicle to provide slow release medicines to the treated area, oral cavity of the patient or as plaster for injures ( breathing membrane against burn injuries as well as bad ones), etc. 7 The composition is based on two components each one in form of paste, one is alginate based and second is setting based. All ingredients are permitted for usage in foods and cosmetics. All of them are easily sourced in the market today. Both pastes are water comprising. Each one of the components can also contain additional ingredients which can be diatomic earth, inert fillers, antimicrobial agents, flavours, hardening retarders or initiators, dietary fibres which provide required hardness and viscosity. The time of setting can also be managed Advantages in comparison to existing in the market product: - relatively long controlled setting time enabling to cover the face or other area by one layer. - possibility to incorporate any health additives according to request - easy and comfortable usage enabling self-treatment for any person - no need for preparation process as material is ready-to-use
EXAMPLES OF S FOOD INDUSTRY meat substitutes plant based fat Matrix macro-encapsulation 1. Creation of new products of healthy food with higher nutrition value and keeping limits in comparison to the existing in the market analogues and possibility of adding biologically active additives 2. Creation of healthy food for different customers as well as vegetarians and vegans Tapam invented and patented matrix macro-encapsulation technology, which allows to produce healthy food products including the products for customers who follow the vegetarian diet or kashrut. Technology allows to produce the following products: meat substitutes (schnitzel, sausages, kebab), plant based fat, eggwhite substitutes. The technology also allows to improve food additives, to increase stability of taste and color of the products The invented technology allows to make a product which represents a mixture of vegetable proteins and amino acids (from pea, soy, oat and buckwheat proteins) very similar by comprising to animal protein which connected to vegetable oil and dietary fibers. This mixture is bonded to general structure whose taste, smell, chewiness and rest of organoleptic parameters are identic to regular meat based products. Formation of taste and organoleptic properties of the product take place after mixing of ingredients and does not requires thermal treatment which prevents deterioration and denaturation of proteins and vitamins assisting to store their natural properties and content. The unique property of the product is a possibility to modify the energy loading of final product and changing of ratio between proteins and lipids without compromising in taste properties. 8
EXAMPLES OF S FOOD INDUSTRY bread and flour products Encapsulated water 1. To delay bread staleness, to prolong a freshness period of baked goods and by thus to prolong a shelf life 2. To improve the quality of products: to increase the mechanical stability and elasticity of dough Tapam invented and patented special Water Fiber technology based on encapsulated water. The «Water Fiber» product made for usage in bread and flour products and allows to seriously prolong the freshness period of baked goods. The product also decreases calories, consists only of water and food additives of group Е , doesn t contain allergens and allows to freeze the dough Water Fiber product technologically represents water encapsulated into stable jel (in the form of fibers). As a result of the stabilization process water jel is inert and in this condition is able to go though the whole process of dough preparation and baking. Water fibers begin to work only after bread products are baked and chilled. The release of moisture from the Water fibers begins only after the moment bread product starts to loose it s own moisture. As a result Water fibers store and keep the moisture equilibrium in bread and as a result of it bread stays fresh longer than usually. In contrast to common water the Water fiber additive doesn t influence the dough properties. «Water Fiber» is added in to the mixer at the final stage of dough preparation (after water, flour and rest of ingredients) 9
EXAMPLES OF S FOOD INDUSTRY substitutes Egg white and yolk substitutes To make the analogue of boiled egg without the microbial problems and with long period of shelf life Tapam invented the analogue of boiled egg white and yolk which can be used in salads, cakes fillings, etc. The technology is based on matrix macro-encapsulation Egg melange To reduce the net cost of the product Tapam invented a special mixture based on hydrocolloids. The technology allows to noticeably reduce the net cost of the produced product, preserving all of its technological qualities. The mixture is used as a part of dough The mixture is added to melange and preserves the quality of the modified melange in National State Standards. The product is in production status. The net cost of the product is 60% from the cost of the natural melange 10
EXAMPLES OF S INTERNATIONAL MODERNIZATION OF PRODUCTION Modernization of the fructose producing plant (China) 1. To increase production efficiency for the existing and operational plant 2. To make the produced product meet the world quality standard requirements Tapam diagnosed and identified the problems of the production processes which needed improvement and upgrade. Based on the made analyses Tapam gave the Client Company recommendations on how to make the necessary improvements as well as the recommendations of the equipment needed as well as suppliers and performed production upgrade controlling. The cost of the project was 0.8 mln. USD Jet fuel cleaning 1. To protect jet engines from corrosion Tapam engineers and set up a special cleaning unit. The technology is based on the removal of water and dissolved oxygen from the fuel which prevents the corrosion. The cost of the project is 130 thousand USD Modernization of candy manufacture 1. To engineer the automatic system of syrup application 2. To engineer the automatic system of methylated alcohol application and application control Tapam engineered a system which automatically applies and controls the amount of the applied substance on top of cakes. The cost of the equipment is 4 thousand USD 11
