We design, manufacture, install and commission Reverse Osmosis desalination systems that are extensively tested, reliable and user-friendly even in the toughest conditions. Our technically advanced systems are custom-engineered to suit any application, thus providing the most economical and efficient solution on the market. We have successfully installed over 800 units in over 50 countries worldwide, with many still functioning efficiently 20 years since installation. 4

Advanced Watertek is a market leader in RO design and continuously incorporates new membrane technologies such as nanofiltration, ultra-filtration and micro-filtration for the production of drinking and industrial water. All systems are the result of advanced manufacturing and engineering standards and meticulous attention to detail. We only use high quality components sourced from Europe and the U.S. Where needed, materials and components with class approvals such as ABS, are specifically sourced from leading manufacturers. Our uncompromising commitment to superior quality and durability is reflected in the extensive use of high grade stainless steel fabrication and components that provide high resistance to corrosion. Our water solutions are environmentally friendly, consume less energy and are compact for both onshore and offshore application. Our reliable RO systems are ideally suited for the demands of Oil & Gas exploration and the drilling industry. Advanced Watertek is one of the few specialised companies who manufacture and supply both Safe Zone and Hazardous Zone Systems. MARINE Innovative, efficient and durable water solutions for the maritime industry. We provide customised solutions specifically engineered to comply with strict marine standards. Advanced Watertek systems can be installed directly on board vessels, including barges and offshore supply vessels. We also supply land based onshore brackish and seawater desalination systems to provide a constant supply of fresh water in remote inland or coastal locations. Our systems are also used for commercial purposes, including livestock vessels, deep sea fishing boats and various other marine applications such as recreational vessels. 10

The activities of our company are managed to minimise the effect on the environment while delivering continual improvement to shareholders, employees, clients, partners, subcontractors, suppliers and society. We recognise that our objectives can only be achieved through continuous evaluation of our corporate responsibility standards that are monitored by internal management and industry regulating bodies. Advanced Watertek is OHSAS 18001:2007 accredited for its Safety Management practices. We strive to create a safe and incident free work environment and take a systematic approach to continually improve our Health and Safety policies. We comply and periodically evaluate all regulatory requirements relevant to employee Health and Safety. Additionally, all staff undergo extensive safety training in order to stringently enforce current safety standards. In instances when we send our technical team on-site to Offshore Rigs for installations and maintenance purposes, to ensure complete safety compliance only fully BOSIT (Safety Induction, Sea Survival, HuET with EBS, Basic Fire Fighting & Self Rescue) certified members are dispatched. 15

20 RO SYSTEMS APPLICATION Hazardous Zone Ground water contains mostly unacceptably high levels of dissolved salts and minerals. Depending on the application, brackish water TDS is in the range of 1,000 to 10,000 ppm and high brackish TDS varies from 10,000 to 15,000 ppm. Generally, water that contains TDS of above 15,000 ppm is considered as a Seawater application. Our Seawater RO systems are designed to treat raw water TDS up to 45,000 ppm. Capacities ranging from 5 m3/day to 4000 m3/day. 20

22 ULTRAFILTRATION MEMBRANE BASED SOLUTIONS Integrated membrane systems with ultrafiltration (UF) are an effective solution for pretreatment of reverse osmosis desalination systems. These systems offer reliable handling of difficult to manage waters, in regions that have traditionally experienced feed water and pretreatment problems. Systems are fully automated to reduce labor costs and enhance reliability. The combination of Ultrafiltration and RO can enhance productivity while delivering consistent (product) water quality. 22

23 MBBR WASTE WATER TREATMENT A Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR) requires less space than traditional wastewater treatment systems. The technology uses polyethylene biofilm elements operating in an aerated wastewater regime. Each individual biofilm element has a high protected surface area to support the growth of heterotrophic and autotrophic bacteria. This results in a highrate biodegradation within the system, which also results in process reliability and ease of operation. The process is self-sustaining as the biofilm attaches to the element modulates of the incoming load fluctuation. The attached growth provides a more dense microbial population per unit volume (compared to suspended growth), resulting in compactness, lower power consumption, minimal maintenance and capacity enhancement. 23
