Look no further than your wastewater plant! For over 30 years Florida has been the leader in beneficially using wastewater effluent/reclaimed water. However, public access reuse is not the highest and best use of our reclaimed water. The more effluent uses are included in indirect and direct potable reuse processes such as aquifer recharge, saltwater intrusion barriers, and recycled beer! Attend this session and you will understand how the City of Tampa, Hillsborough County and others are breaking ground in Florida to maximize the efficiency of reclaimed water through cost effective potable reuse programs, which include making DPR Beer (New Water Brew) to begin the public awareness campaign. 2
